Job Requirements

- Interest in AI tools and digital products
- Excellent written communication skills in German (C2) and English (C1)
- Advantageous: Initial exposure to compliance topics (e.g., ISO 27001, data protection, AI Act)
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
- Experience writing structured content (e.g., guidelines, documentation)

About the Role Mentis AI is seeking experienced medical coders based in the US to support the review and refinement of a new medical coding AI platform. You will work asynchronously to review de-identified coding cases, helping train and validate AI models for automated medical coding. Key Responsibilities - Case Review & Coding: Review individual coding cases (estimated 30–45 minutes per case), applying accurate medical codes in line with project guidelines and standards. - Quality Assurance & Data Accuracy: Ensure consistent and accurate application of medical codes following provided guidelines and project standards. - Platform-Based Review: Use a dedicated labeling platform to review, code, and validate cases efficiently. - Feedback & Collaboration: Provide feedback to improve coding guidelines, identify ambiguities in source data, and support the improvement of AI-assisted coding mappings.
