About the Role Mentis AI is seeking experienced medical coders based in the US to support the review and refinement of a new medical coding AI platform. You will work asynchronously to review de-identified coding cases, helping train and validate AI models for automated medical coding. Key Responsibilities - Case Review & Coding: Review individual coding cases (estimated 30–45 minutes per case), applying accurate medical codes in line with project guidelines and standards. - Quality Assurance & Data Accuracy: Ensure consistent and accurate application of medical codes following provided guidelines and project standards. - Platform-Based Review: Use a dedicated labeling platform to review, code, and validate cases efficiently. - Feedback & Collaboration: Provide feedback to improve coding guidelines, identify ambiguities in source data, and support the improvement of AI-assisted coding mappings. • Own and deliver against the department’s output targets with department team. • Support department’s sales target via collaboration with business development team. • Collaborate with both business development and sales teams to shape proposals and respond to RFPs. • Lead solution design and technical input during pre-sales engagements, supporting existing business development pre-sales. • Represent our Microsoft practice in client meetings, pitches, and industry events. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Microsoft, and other strategic partners. • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts. • Ensure client satisfaction and long-term value through high-impact solution delivery. • Support the Operations Director to drive the Microsoft platforms strategy in alignment with organisational goals. • Ensure technical governance, security, and compliance across all Microsoft technologies. • Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex technical issues from within the department’s teams and projects. • Mentor and develop internal talent within our Microsoft practice and work alongside the Operations Director on performance reviews. • Promote continuous learning and Microsoft certification across the team. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
