Role: Junior Procurement Manager - Contract role (x4) Consulting Seniority: Junior Consultant - Manager Day rate: £300-£550 Outside IR35 Project duration: 12-18 months Location: Remote with UK/Europe working hours We’re supporting a global construction and property consultancy that advises clients across major real estate, infrastructure and sustainability programmes worldwide. They're seeking 4 Procurement Managers (3-7 years of experience) to lead strategic procurement and category management across major programmes. The role will drive the full category management lifecycle from spend analysis and market intelligence through to sourcing execution, supplier relationship management, and continuous improvement ensuring efficient, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for data centre clients. Tasks - Develop and execute category strategies across CAPEX and OPEX spend areas, applying the fully category management lifecycle from spend analysis and market intelligence through to execution - Collaborate with project and client teams to define and track procurement baseline budgets, timelines, and delivery schedules while managing supply chain risk and mitigation strategies - Lead end to end sourcing processes including RFx/ITT development, supplier engagement, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations to achieve best value for clients Requirements - An independent consultant - Proven experience in strategic procurement and/or category management, with a demonstrated track record of delivery (3-7 years of experience) - Industry experience with Data centres, Construction, Pharma, or Oil & Gas - Nice to have: CIPS Qualified (MCIPS), actively working towards MCIPS designation, or demonstrating a clear desire to attain professional CIPS accreditation - Nice to have: Ariba experience
