The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant to join us in Germany. In this role, you will perform on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat OpenShift and related solutions and offerings. You'll gain understanding of our customers’ infrastructures and business needs and make recommendations appropriate to their environment to create possibilities and resolve issues. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with customers on various specific initiatives, including architecture, deployment and troubleshooting. You will also support other consultants, associates, and partners in developing best practices and methods, mainly based on OpenShift and related technologies. What you will do: - Serve as a trusted adviser to Red Hat engineers and project and technical managers to deliver and implement the right solutions for our customers - Serve as a subject matter expert on site, addressing customers’ technical, development, and IT issues and needs - Learn new technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs - Adapt to changing customer requirements - Manage technical problem identification and resolution, support system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions - Keep stakeholders updated on issues that may affect project or company performance What you will bring: - Knowledge of infrastructure (Red Hat OpenShift) and automation solutions (Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform) - Application Development experience (esp. The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a Data Engineer to join the Wildlife Health Lab (CWHL) team. The selected person will work in collaboration with application developers, data scientists, ecologists, and wildlife professionals using data pipelines that integrate raw wildlife agency data into data systems. The Data Engineer will further prepare data for and run large analytical processes written in R, Python, or other languages. The Data Engineer will migrate current local processes to cloud services, as well as write and maintain system documentation. The Data Engineer will support development goals by publishing and maintaining data resources systems for wildlife agencies.
