Role Description We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical solutions, driving digital transformation for our global clients. With a deep-rooted background in Financial Accounting, you will lead end-to-end implementations, ensuring that the system architecture aligns with international accounting standards and specific regional requirements. This role requires bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to facilitate seamless communication between our multinational stakeholders and local delivery teams. Key Responsibilities: - Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the functional design for D365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cost Accounting. - Business Transformation: Conduct discovery workshops to analyze "As-Is" processes and define "To-Be" financial workflows, ensuring best practices are applied to streamline operations. - Global Delivery & Localization: Manage the complexities of global rollouts, specifically addressing localization requirements, tax configurations, and statutory reporting for Mandarin-speaking regions. - Documentation: Create high-quality Functional Design Documents (FDD), process maps, and user training manuals in both English and Mandarin where necessary. - Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for C-suite stakeholders, translating technical limitations into business impacts and vice versa. - Integration & Reporting: Collaborate with technical teams on data migration strategies and design robust financial reporting solutions using Financial Reporting (formerly Management Reporter), Power BI, and Electronic Reporting. Qualifications - 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 Finance & Operations. - Minimum of 4 end-to-end lifecycle implementations in a Lead or Senior Functional capacity. - Proven expertise in complex financial consolidations, multi-currency environments, and intercompany accounting. - Solid foundation in Finance/Accounting (CPA, ACCA). - Strong understanding of the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) as it relates to extending F&O capabilities. - Experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and the Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT). - Mandarin: Must be able to lead technical workshops, negotiate requirements, and produce documentation for Mandarin-speaking clients. - English: Professional fluency for global collaboration and internal reporting. Preferred Attributes - Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB310). - Experience in specific industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, or Professional Services. - Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
