Role Description Own and scale NGL’s revenue, funnels, and lifecycle growth by turning traffic into durable, monetizable user behavior. You will run growth as a system…from acquisition through retention…while protecting the viral mechanics that make NGL work. This role is measured in metrics shipped, not features shipped. What You’ll Do - Monetization Systems: - Own all product-led revenue systems: - Subscription pricing, tiers, and trials - Optimize onboarding and paywall timing by traffic source - One-time purchases (reveals, hints, boosts) - Paywall timing, copy, UX, and placement - Revenue per active user (ARPDAU / ARPU) - Monetization performance by cohort (influencer, paid UA, organic) - Extensive collaboration with Monetization Team by translating revenue strategy into shipped product features - Accountable for revenue lift without growth decay. - Organic Funnels, Influencer & Creator Funnels: - Own influencer onboarding flows - Creator-specific product surfaces and incentives - Conversion paths from influencer posts → installs → paid actions - Monetization differences by creator tier and audience quality - Feedback loops that increase creator posting frequency and retention - Partnerships source creators. - Funnel Ownership (End-to-End): - Own the full lifecycle: - Entry (Snap, IG, TikTok, deep links) - First-session experience and activation - Message reveal mechanics and engagement triggers - Re-engagement loops (notifications, prompts, scarcity) - Conversion to paid - Design funnels that improve LTV and payback - Retention, churn reduction, and win-back flows - Expected to know where every drop-off lives. - Experimentation & Growth Velocity: - Maintain a prioritized growth experiment backlog - Run continuous A/B tests across onboarding, pricing, and UX - Test influencer-specific monetization strategies - Kill underperforming ideas quickly - Scale winners aggressively - K-Factor Optimization: - Speed and learning rate matter more than perfection. - Feature Ownership & Rollout (Engineering): - Own feature execution end-to-end: - Write clear PRDs tied to growth and revenue outcomes - Prioritize engineering work based on expected impact - Partner with engineering to ship experiments quickly - Own rollout plans, gating, and ramp strategies - Monitor post-launch performance and iterate fast - Ship, measure, and refine. No throw-it-over-the-wall handoffs. - Reporting, Dashboards & GM Updates: - Build and maintain clear growth dashboards - Report weekly to the NGL GM on: - Revenue performance - Funnel metrics - Experiment results - Key risks and opportunities - Provide data-backed recommendations for roadmap and spend decisions - The GM should never be surprised by the numbers.
