Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Location: Alabama Setting: Remote/Telehealth Position: Full-Time Salary: $115,000 to $120,000 a year Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time telehealth opportunity serving clients in Alabama. This role centers on helping people navigate family conflict, marriage concerns, stress, anxiety, and major life changes through online therapy sessions. The LMFT will play an important part in evaluating client concerns, creating treatment strategies, and delivering steady clinical support in a virtual setting. Responsibilities: - Conduct telehealth counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families - Complete intake assessments and establish treatment goals - Address issues related to family systems, communication, conflict, and emotional health - Keep detailed and compliant session notes and treatment records - Review client progress and update interventions as needed
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field
- Active LMFT license in Alabama
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery
- Knowledge of state and federal confidentiality regulations
