Senior Business Development Manager – DACH

WEX

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the travel industry across the EMEA region, with an initial focus on the DACH region. • Develop and execute business development plans to meet regional targets and contribute to overall revenue growth. • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and networking. • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial prospect contact to deal closure and follow-up activities. • Develop and present "Deal Sheets" in collaboration with Commercial Finance to secure management approval for new business opportunities. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer plans within Salesforce. • Conduct regular client meetings, including travel to client sites across EMEA, to establish and maintain strong relationships. • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on B2B payment solutions, driving growth in spend and revenue. • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operational teams to develop and deliver tailored client solutions. • Participate in industry events to network and promote WEX International's thought leadership in the travel payments market. • Accurately monitor, analyze, and forecast revenue streams, ensuring alignment with budget and KPIs. • Expand WEX’s Travel payment solutions ecosystem through strategic partnerships. • Proactively keep management informed of all customer plans, milestones, and issues.
