Job Requirements

  • PE registration
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program required
  • 5+ Years of overseeing technical aspects of substation projects and client facing
  • Familiarity with electrical substation equipment
  • Knowledge of steel detailing
  • Knowledge of Inventor or other BIM software
  • Building design experience
  • Knowledge of Design Codes: ASCE 113, ASCE 7-10, AISC 360, ACI 318 and other ACI
  • Familiarity with NESC
  • Familiarity with IEEE standards

Construction Superintendent-Environmental Remediation GHD's Construction group is hiring! We have an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Construction Superintendent to oversee construction job sites throughout the United States. We have openings across all geographic areas within the continental US and an upcoming 3-year project in western Ohio. In this role, you will lead construction projects of small- to large-scale environmental, heavy civil projects. This position would support the following types of projects: environmental remediation, earthwork, heavy civil, demolition, dredging/waterway, and general contracting. You will direct crews onsite, ensure deadlines and quality control measures are met, evaluate project work in accordance with a predetermined timeline and budget and align with the strategic goals of the organization and scope of the project. This role will be required to work remote on project sites with rotations home on a regular basis. Candidate can be located anywhere in the USA, but candidates located near or willing to relocate near western Ohio will be preferred.
