As VP Corporate Finance, you will serve as the centre of expertise for credit structuring and underwriting, directly supporting VPs Corporate Banking in delivering tailored financial solutions. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: - Reviewing submissions to ensure alignment with risk appetite and business strategy.  - Generate new business by working with brokers and clients to find innovative ways to deploy products. - Analyze complex risks and unusual transaction structures thoroughly and effectively.  - Perform underwriting activities associated with the management of all underwriting transactions, service standards and compliance rules and documentation.  - Demonstrate a customer service mindset by proactively engaging internal and external contacts.  - Collaborate and correspond with internal and external contacts, to achieve a high level of service and meet client expectations.  - Interact directly with various business partners and internal departments.  - Meet departmental service standards in place for each process.  - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned under minimal supervision.  - As a new company we fully acknowledge the scope of each colleague’s job will change over time. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience. - At least five years of Primary Casualty Experience required. - Midwest (Chicago and surrounding areas) or West Coast Relationships and contact preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.  - Ability to process and adapt to change in a rapid growth new-company environment.
