Summary We are seeking a VP, Partner Data to lead the delivery of data implementation and calibration. Overseeing critical data from our industry leading professional sports organization partners, the Partner Data team closely collaborates with Partner Success, Data Science, and Engineering functions. The ideal candidate has expertise building and managing people, processes, and products that lead to accurate, timely, efficient, and reliable data outputs. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with leading sports and live event organizations in developing and implementing innovative techniques and advancing their decision-making. Job Functions - Own delivery of accurate (trustworthy) and timely partner data to downstream modeling and web application deliverables. - Evaluate, develop, and manage products and processes that ensure data delivery is as efficient as possible for our external partners and the internal Partner Data team. - Work directly with our external partners to address issues and opportunities relating to data ingestion, data processing, and data quality. - Review and propose Partner Data workflows in close collaboration with Partner Success, Data Science, and Engineering considerations. - Hire, develop, and supervise the Parter Data team. - Execute on data deliverables when capable and as needed. - Help build a collaborative culture focused on ownership and empathy for our partners.

Job Requirements

  • Required Experience
  • At least eight years of experience building and managing data implementation processes for enterprise software – within data science and/or event ticketing applications is a plus.
  • Experience managing a data solutions, analytics engineering, implementation services, or similar cross functional team that partners with engineering, data science, and customer success functions.
  • Product management experience relating to data ingestion, classification, review, and validation.
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts and strategies across key internal and external technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Background in data architecture (lakes, warehouses), data engineering pipelines (ETL/ELT), and cloud platforms (AWS) and experience with Python, SQL, and BI software (e.g. Tableau).
  • Experience working with and managing project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience with ticketing system data (e.g. Tickets.com, Ticketmaster) is a plus.
  • Familiarity and good judgment with a broad range of statistical modeling methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Possess excellent reasoning, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meaningfully generate value in an entrepreneurial environment.
