Lead Cloud Platform Engineer

Position Purpose: Manages the technical approach and decisions as it relates to the configuration of software and infrastructure services on the cloud platform. Manages cloud infrastructure as code. Automates deployment and administration. Develops plan to ensure security of cloud components. Partners with the DevOps team to spearhead and lead upgrades, enhancements, and software migrations to drive the successful deployment of cloud infrastructure and applications. - Leads a team of engineers who builds and supports the administration of cloud-based environments - Establishes and develops code-based CI/CD deployment plans for new and existing infrastructure based on standards and best-practices provided - Leads and directs the implementation of monitoring solutions that give greater visibility into performance and reliability of cloud environments - Partners with Development, Network and Security groups and integrate their requirements in all environment build plans - Ensures the execution and completion of capacity plans to include cloud based deployments - Leads the development and implementation of design, build, and deploy cloud applications, including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics - Delivers continuous integration and delivery pipeline and standards by enabling common DevSecOps tooling in cloud environment and providing development teams with the ability to execute builds, run tests, and deploy in automated fashion - Performs other duties as assigned - Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 – 7 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
