Job Description
Product Manager
Inspired Thinking Group (ITG)
The Product Manager – Commerce Engine is responsible for owning a defined area of the Commerce Engine platform, driving both product discovery and delivery. This role goes beyond execution to ensure the right problems are being solved — working closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, validate solutions, and deliver high-impact outcomes. Operating within a multi-squad Agile environment, the Product Manager partners closely with Engineering, UX, and Product Leadership to shape priorities, guide delivery, and ensure alignment with long-term product strategy. This is a high-impact role focused on balancing short-term delivery with long-term product health, scalability, and market fit. Key Responsibilities: - Own problem discovery and validation within your product area. - Conduct customer interviews, stakeholder sessions, and market research to identify opportunities. - Develop and test product hypotheses using data and user feedback. - Contribute to product strategy and roadmap definition. - Define success metrics and measure product outcomes post-release. - Own and maintain the Commerce Engine product backlog. - Translate roadmap initiatives into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. - Prioritize work across new features, enhancements, and technical initiatives. - Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and release coordination. - Ensure solutions are aligned to validated customer needs and business outcomes. - Balance feature delivery with platform stability and long-term sustainability. - Partner with Engineering on effort sizing, trade-offs, and release planning. - Work closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and UX to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. - Act as the voice of the customer in product decisions. - Align with Product Leadership on roadmap priorities and strategic direction. - Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and integrated releases. - Support discovery sessions and solution validation discussions. - Translate stakeholder needs into clearly defined, execution-ready work.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field is highly preferred.
