Company: ClaimsPro LP Claims Service Representative (ECS) Part Time (Remote) Salary range: $22.67 - $31.49 hourly Responsibilities - Field and enter new claims reports received through a variety of methods, such as email, telephone, and fax. - Deal with new claim reports and customer inquiries received through various methods, escalating more complex issues according to company policies and procedures. - Generate statistical reports as required. - Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence sorting and flagging urgent items, following up for information when required. - Process and type form letters or other items as assigned. - Provide administrative support and assistance when required. - Help identify improvements to be made to process and share these with management. - Receive and distribute incoming mail. - Other duties as required in order to meet team objectives SCM Insurance Services and affiliates welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities. JOB SUMMARY: Insurance Specialists are responsible for accurately identifying insurance claims denials and/or claims processing errors to resolve accounts. Specific tasks, responsibilities or competencies may be documented in the Team Member’s performance objectives as outlined by the Team Member’s immediate Leadership Team Member. - Resolve unpaid/denied claims by leveraging proprietary software system, making phone calls, generating letters, accessing client systems and insurance carrier web portals in the pursuit of getting a claim resolved. - Review medical documentation such as UB04 claim forms, EOB’s and medical records to determine the appropriate course of action for claim resolution. - Maintain familiarity with client preferences and known issues. - Meet monthly production and quality expectations. - Comply with HIPAA privacy laws. - Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of physician and/or hospital AR experience preferred - Knowledge of UB04 claim forms, EOB’s and medical records preferred - At least one year of Epic experience preferred - Knowledge of basic computer functions - Ability to work effectively in a remote environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, calculate percent, etc.) - Ability to analyze and interpret documents, contracts, notes, and other correspondence - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Organization skills with a strong attention to detail PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions as described. This is a remote position but candidates must reside within the greater St. Louis area. About This Role: This is a remote contract role will support a small transportation team of three. The contractor will complete day to day transportation planning activities including scheduling, tendering, product issue resolution, and email communication, while working cross functionally with Operations Planning and Warehouse/Plant teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing requests in a fast-paced environment. WorkSafeNB is creating an inventory of casual full-time Claims Adjudicators to support future hiring opportunities. These positions require a linguistic profile of Bilingual written and spoken. Reporting to the Manager, Adjudication Services, you will provide superior client service by rendering quality decisions in a timely fashion on claim entitlement and providing timely access to care for workers. This includes medical aid and loss of earnings entitlement. You will support the worker in their recovery and enable the worker to stay at work and/or return to work. To protect the integrity of the system, you will make decisions in compliance with Workers’ Compensation Act or any other relevant legislations, and WorkSafeNB policies, directives, and standard operating procedures. Salary And Hours Of Work: • Hours of work are those required to perform the assigned tasks but shall not be less than 35 hours per week, 7 per day. Monday to Friday between 8:00-5:00 PM. • The pay scale for this position is $40.84 per hour. CUPE 1866 employees start at Step 1 of the pay band for the position appointment.
