• Building tools and applications to extends Calendly’s infrastructure platform • Evaluating and deploying cloud native open source tools • Exercising expertise in cloud infrastructure concepts and patterns • Instituting resilient infrastructure through Infrastructure as code • Maintaining and improving observability of our infrastructure platform, and offers patterns for application teams to consume for application observability • Participating in an on-call rotation to support the infrastructure platform • Fostering a collaborative environment of learning and knowledge dissemination • Defining standard practices and tooling around new services, changes, incidents, postmortems, and capacity management, and work with application engineering teams to adopt those practices

• Act on incident resolution (break/fix) via the ServiceNow queue • Serve as the DevOps/applications lead on new projects (lower environments – dev/test) • Participate daily in collaboration channels (chat/voice/video) for ongoing team alignment • Update and maintain technical documentation (including new releases) • Participate in pre-release meetings to align on new versions Ensure that: • Deployment documentation is up to date • Network diagrams are current • Configure and maintain pipelines in Azure DevOps • Manage requests and records (ServiceNow tickets, firewall rules, RFCs and other requests) • Build productive relationships with client teams and project managers • Work with development, DBAs and infrastructure teams to create: • Post-deploy tests (smoke tests) • Scripts and automations (Ansible, PowerShell, etc.) • Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for specific applications, serving as the focal point for requests and projects • Participate in Application Release Review Highlights presentations, aligning requirements with global teams
