Job Summary: We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead design across fast-moving initiatives. This role is hands-on and execution-driven - turning ambiguous problems into clear flows and shipped experiences. Qualifications and Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree is required. - 5+ years of UX/product design experience, including 0→1 product work. - Strong portfolio showing shipped work and impact on user behavior (e.g., conversion, engagement). - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. - Strong interaction design and information architecture skills. - Excellent at turning ambiguous problems into clear, structured solutions. - High proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma or equivalent). - Comfortable designing live (e.g., in working sessions) and incorporating real-time feedback. - Strong communication; able to explain decisions clearly and concisely. - Strong understanding of front-end (HTML/CSS/JS); hands-on experience coding simple front-end, like static pages, is highly preferred. - High ownership, speed, adaptability, and attention to detail are a must. - You must be a world-class individual contributor to thrive at Toptal. • Lead the entire design lifecycle focused on the referring physician experience, driving projects from discovery through launch, managing deadlines, and ensuring stakeholder alignment. • Directly drive a quantifiable reduction in operational friction by designing highly efficient, scalable, and error-minimized workflow solutions. • Apply superior information architecture, interaction, and visual design craft to all deliverables. Actively contribute to and leverage the Design System to accelerate product realization and elevate the quality baseline. • Serve as a core partner to Engineering and QA, understanding technical constraints and ensuring that delivered designs are viable for efficient implementation. • Serve as thought partner to Product Management, Engineering, and Commercial teams, actively providing informed design perspectives and driving strategic cross-functional decisions. • Conduct deep discovery research such as informal guerilla testing to more structured task-based analysis, to identify friction points and opportunities for improvements within complex multi-user workflows. • Perform regulatory-compliant human factors engineering activities such as task analysis, risk-based formative usability evaluations, use-related risk analysis, and actively contribute to the cross-functional risk management efforts. • Employ outstanding communication and storytelling skills to distill complex workflow issues into clear, engaging narratives, actively amplifying the voice and business impact of design company-wide.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, user/task analysis, personas, storyboards, scenarios, and experience goal setting. • Lead UI/UX design activities including conceptual modeling, information architecture, wireframes, flowcharts, and high‑fidelity prototypes. • Facilitate observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and iterative design sessions. • Develop UI mockups, clickable prototypes, and proof‑of‑concept interfaces using Figma and prototyping tools. • Create original graphic assets such as icons, images, sketches, tables, and visual components. • Design and code user interfaces using HTML5, CSS/Sass, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular. • Implement layout adjustments and design refinements based on user research and testing results. • Identify and troubleshoot UX/UI issues, usability gaps, and design inconsistencies. • Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and federal UX policies. • Communicate research insights, design rationale, prototypes, and specifications visually and verbally to stakeholders. • Collaborate with visual designers, developers, and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment. • Use GitLab and the command line for version control, workflows, and development tasks. • Prepare and present design drafts, prototypes, and recommendations to internal teams and key stakeholders. • Support iterative improvement through ongoing analysis, user feedback, and design reviews.
