Citrix Systems Engineer
Gabtech Global, LLC
• Support and optimize multiple client environments utilizing Citrix DaaS (Cloud Control Plane) • Administer Citrix DaaS environments across multiple customer tenants • Manage Machine Catalogs, Delivery Groups, policies, and session configurations • Maintain Cloud Connectors (availability, patching, lifecycle management) • Troubleshoot logon delays, performance degradation, and application delivery issues • Coordinate Citrix upgrades and version alignment across clients • Support on-prem resource locations (VMware, Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V) • Monitor VDA health, storage performance, and hypervisor capacity • Manage profile solutions (FSLogix, Citrix Profile Management) • Maintain AD integration, DNS, file services, and print services • Provide capacity planning recommendations aligned with client growth • Maintain secure remote access via Citrix Gateway Service or on-prem ADC • Support MFA integrations and zero-trust initiatives • Apply security patches to VDAs and Cloud Connectors • Monitor availability and user experience metrics • Respond to incidents and service requests within SLA targets • Perform root cause analysis and document corrective actions • Support DR design and periodic failover testing
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops administration
- Experience with Citrix DaaS (Citrix Cloud control plane)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, and Group Policy
- Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms
- Proven troubleshooting experience in multi-user virtual environments
- Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously in an SLA-driven setting
- Citrix ADC / NetScaler experience (preferred)
- PowerShell scripting and automation (preferred)
- Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools (preferred)
- Experience supporting 500+ concurrent users (preferred)

Role Description The Project Engineer VI serves as a senior technical authority and strategic integrator for high-complexity defense and aerospace programs. The individual provides technical direction and programmatic oversight across engineering disciplines, ensuring alignment of design, performance, and risk with mission and contractual requirements. The Level VI engineer represents engineering leadership at the enterprise level, contributing to organizational strategy, process improvement, and technology development initiatives.
