Job Description

Principal Business Development, Edge Infra Solutions

SBA Communications

• Define and own the product strategy for our edge data center solutions • Conduct market research, analyze competitor offerings, and identify new opportunities • Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and analyze market trends to understand the needs of developers, enterprises, and service providers • Write clear, concise, and comprehensive product requirements documents and use case stories • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and launch • Partner with marketing and sales to develop and execute a successful go-to-market plan • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, adoption, and end-of-life • Present product strategies, roadmaps, and updates to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management
  • Strong background in infrastructure, cloud, fiber infrastructure or data center solutions
  • Deep understanding of edge computing, data center, fiber infrastructure, and networking
  • Experience with hardware, software, and services related to distributed computing is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a product roadmap
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and prioritize features
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with engineering, sales, and marketing teams
  • Self-starter with a high degree of ownership and a bias for action
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • An MBA is a plus
