Job Summary The Creative Director will lead and elevate the visual identity and creative output across all mSupply brands, overseeing a centralized creative studio that supports our HVAC, Plumbing, Appliance, and Corporate Communications verticals. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining brand consistency across all channels—print, digital, web, and customer-facing touchpoints—while driving innovation in design strategy. The ideal candidate combines exceptional design leadership with a deep understanding of UI/UX principles, user-first thinking, and the ability to scale creative operations across a multi-brand portfolio. Job Duties & Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of graphic designers and content specialists, fostering a collaborative, high-performance creative culture - Develop and enforce brand guidelines across all mSupply brands, ensuring visual consistency and quality across print, digital, web, and marketing collateral - Oversee all creative output for the organization, including marketing campaigns, sales materials, website design, email templates, social media assets, trade show materials, and internal communications - Apply UI/UX principles and user-first design thinking to all customer-facing properties, including websites, eCommerce platforms, and digital applications - Partner with Marketing, Digital, and IT teams to optimize user experience across all digital touchpoints and customer journeys - Establish creative workflows, project management processes, and quality assurance standards for the creative studio - Manage creative resource allocation across verticals (HVAC/Plumbing, Digital, Appliance, Corporate Communications) to ensure timely delivery of projects - Stay current with design trends, technologies, and best practices; evaluate and recommend new tools and platforms to enhance creative capabilities - Develop and manage creative budgets, vendor relationships, and external agency partnerships as needed - Present creative strategies and design concepts to senior leadership, translating business objectives into compelling visual solutions - Champion accessibility standards and inclusive design practices across all creative work - Support brand integration efforts for acquisitions, ensuring smooth creative transitions and alignment with corporate standards Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field; Master's degree preferred - 8+ years of progressive experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing creative teams - Proven portfolio demonstrating excellence in both print and digital design across multiple brand applications - Strong expertise in UI/UX design principles, user research methodologies, and human-centered design practices - Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Figma, and other industry-standard design tools - Experience with web design technologies, content management systems, and understanding of HTML/CSS fundamentals - Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive brand guidelines and design systems - Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities - Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience in B2B marketing environments; distribution, manufacturing, or industrial sectors preferred - Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, digital analytics, and performance optimization - Track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing creative teams Physical Demands & Work Environment This position may require over 40 hours per week and includes regular physical activity such as: - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Occasional travel to branch locations, trade shows, and vendor meetings (up to 15%) - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for transporting marketing materials and equipment What We Offer: We prioritize your well-being from day one with a comprehensive benefits package that includes: - Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage effective immediately - 401(k) plan with company contributions - Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage - HSA/FSA options and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and personal days - Weekly pay, employee discounts, and more Equal Employment Opportunity & Pre-Employment Requirements mSupply is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
