• Perform analyses on large sets of data to extract practical insights • Define data requirements and support the implementation of data specs • Maintain the Spotify Ads Manager’s data and reporting ecosystem • Design and conduct experiments for user and advertiser metrics • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a similar data science role
  • Technical competence in coding (SQL, Python - packages such as pandas and numpy)
  • Data visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, matplotlib)
  • Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning
  • Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
  • Experience working in an analytics role with product, sales, or marketing teams

What You’ll Do: The Data Scientist Intern will help develop predictive machine learning models to optimize scheduling for maintenance and shipping, launch a RAG LLM for digitizing SOPs, and support workforce digital literacy training.. They will get on-hand experience collaborating with stakeholders and presenting to executives as well as mentorship from senior leaders. What You’ll Need: - Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or related field - Rising Junior or Senior - Preferred experience with Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Git, or related tools - Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills - Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Compensation: - $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background Work Hours/Length of Program: - The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August - Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week (possibility for more flexible hours and Part Time if necessary) - Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business - This is a paid internship Working Conditions and Physical Demands: This position is based in our Corporate Office, and employees are expected to wear business casual dress.
