Outsourcing Advantage is looking for a meticulous and analytical Low Voltage Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing plans and specifications related to low voltage systems, which include fire alarm, security, access control, cameras, intercom, data, and related systems. Reviews plans and specifications to determine what equipment and scope are required. Your expertise will help ensure accurate cost estimates and contribute to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities - Review and analyze architectural and engineering plans related to low voltage systems to determine project requirements. - Prepares accurate estimates by reviewing plans and comparing new projects to previous similar jobs to ensure consistent system design, device placement, and overall scope. - Create detailed and accurate cost estimates based on project specifications. - Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to clarify project specifications and requirements. - Assist in the development and maintenance of estimation databases and standards. - Ensure timely submission of estimates to meet project deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a level of C1 Advanced.
  • Proven experience in low voltage estimating or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage systems, including security, audio-visual, and data communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Role Overview The Principal Orbital Systems Integration Lead is accountable for orchestrating end to end integration across all Orbital systems within a large-scale ERP transformation program. This role ensures alignment across business processes, technology, data, testing, cutover, and deployment activities so that the program delivers a single, cohesive, and stable solution. Acting as the primary integration and coordination lead for Orbital systems, this role manages cross stream dependencies, integration risks, decision flows, and execution readiness. The Orbital System Lead enables predictable delivery, minimizes business and operational disruption, and ensures a successful go live and post deployment stabilization. Key Responsibilities End to End Integration Leadership - Own end to end integration of Orbital systems with the ERP platform and other upstream/downstream applications. - Ensure Orbital system requirements, constraints, and dependencies are incorporated into overall solution design and delivery plans. - Act as the single point of accountability for Orbital system integration outcomes across the program lifecycle. Cross Stream Coordination & Dependency Management - Coordinate activities across business process, functional, technical, data, testing, cutover, and deployment workstreams related to Orbital systems. - Identify, track, and actively manage cross stream dependencies and timing conflicts impacting Orbital integration. - Drive resolution of integration issues through structured problem solving and escalation where needed. Solution Design & Technology Alignment - Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Integration, and Technical Leads to ensure Orbital system designs align with target state architecture and ERP integration standards. - Validate that integration patterns (interfaces, APIs, middleware, data flows) meet performance, scalability, security, and resiliency requirements. - Ensure design decisions balance business needs, technical feasibility, and long term maintainability. Data & Process Readiness - Partner with Data and Business Process Leads to ensure Orbital related data objects, mappings, transformations, and reconciliations are defined and validated. - Confirm end to end business processes involving Orbital systems are fully enabled, tested, and operationally viable post go live. - Ensure master and transactional data dependencies are clearly understood and sequenced appropriately. Testing Oversight - Ensure Orbital systems are fully incorporated into system integration testing (SIT), end to end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover rehearsals. - Validate that integration test scenarios cover critical Orbital to ERP and ERP to Orbital flows. - Partner with the Testing Lead to triage defects, drive root cause analysis, and ensure timely remediation. Cutover & Deployment Readiness - Own Orbital system readiness for cutover and go live, including sequencing, blackout periods, and rollback considerations. - Coordinate Orbital system activities during mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and final cutover execution. - Ensure operational handoffs, monitoring, and support models for Orbital systems are in place prior to deployment. Risk, Issue & Decision Management - Proactively identify integration risks related to Orbital systems and define mitigation and contingency plans. - Own and manage Orbital related risks and issues through established governance and RAID processes. - Prepare decision materials and recommendations for program leadership, ensuring clear options, impacts, and trade offs. Governance & Stakeholder Engagement - Represent Orbital systems in program forums, including design reviews, integration syncs, testing cadence meetings, and cutover readiness reviews. - Serve as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and the ERP program leadership. - Ensure transparency of status, risks, dependencies, and impacts related to Orbital systems. Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent and typically requires 13+ years, with 8+ years, of direct work-related experience. Less years required if has relevant Master's or Doctorate qualifications.
