• Provide oversight of HICS and CTM system • Ensure full resolution of HICS and CTM cases within regulatory timeframes and defined requirements • Research, follow up and resolve discrepancies associated with membership eligibility • Analyze member eligibility and take appropriate actions to resolve issues across all eligibility systems • Oversee, analyze, and provide feedback to all areas that participate in the HICS and CTM case resolution • Develop, implement, and execute HICS and CTM training to business areas as needed • Analyze and evaluate operations to identify and suggest process improvements • Monitor and track HICS and CTM data • Identify irregular trends with HICS and CTM cases; work with other areas as appropriate to identify root causes and take appropriate steps for resolution • Document and report data to appropriate internal committees • Make outbound phone calls in support of Enrollment processes • Perform any other job duties as requested

Role Description The Intake Representative - Insurance Verification is responsible for verifying detailed benefits and authorizations requirements for a high volume of patients. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a sense of urgency. - Verifying correct patient information, including insurance benefits and authorization requirements for permanent and transient patients. - Submitting required authorizations timely and following up on determinations when needed. - Updating patient information in a timely manner to avoid delays in billing cycles. - Contacting the admissions team and/or clinical personnel to obtain missing or incorrect information during initial verification. - Verifying accuracy of data and updating accounts based off weekly audits. - Updating patient accounts with newly acquired information and notifying appropriate personnel if claims require rebilling or require voiding and regenerating. - Keeping up to date on COB rules according to insurance guidelines and requirements. - Maintaining a professional work relationship with all facility and office staff; developing effective relationships at all levels of the organization. MUST HAVE prior insurance verification experience Insurance verifications for existing patients; troubleshooting and next level verification Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Knowledge of various health insurance programs and the medical insurance industry preferred. - Previous experience verifying detailed insurance benefits and authorization requirements preferred. - Knowledge of medical terminology and government/private insurer rules and regulations. - Must have intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); working knowledge of Internet for business use. - Requires research and exceptional organization skills to manage a large patient load. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deadline driven environment.
