Our tutors support students across the United States through flexible, remote sessions that meet learners where they are. Role Overview We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Biology Tutors who can confidently support students in Biology from middle school through college level. The ideal tutor can also teach other Science subjects such as Chemistry, Environmental Science, or general high school science. The ability to tutor Math is a plus and can increase your schedule availability. This is a fully remote contract role with flexible scheduling. Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience
- At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience
- Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years
- At least 1 year of online tutoring experience
- Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards
- Strong subject matter expertise in Biology, with the ability to tutor additional Science subjects
- Ability to tutor Science subjects between 6th grade and college level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tutors with availability during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) can connect with more students. Broader weekday and weekend availability is a plus
- Fast and reliable internet connection
- Computer or laptop with microphone and camera. A stylus pen is highly recommended for clear annotations

ABOUT THE ROLE The People Support Center Leader – Southwest Europe is a senior People Operations leader responsible for the end-to-end delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Benefits Administration services across the Southwest Europe region. Reporting to the Global Head of People Support Center, this role combines deep functional expertise with strong leadership, vendor management, and transformation capabilities. The PSC Leader will ensure high-quality service delivery while driving automation, standardization, and modernization of people processes and systems, in close collaboration with HR, Finance, People Systems, and external service providers, including ADP. WHAT YOU’LL DO Service Delivery & Operational Excellence - Provide overall leadership and accountability for PSC services across Southwest Europe, covering Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Benefits Administration. - Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery for all employee populations in the region. - Oversee payroll funding, reconciliations, audits, general ledger interfaces, and month-end and year-end activities. - Establish and maintain strong governance, controls, and audit-ready documentation across all PSC processes. - Drive a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and employee experience focus within the PSC team. - Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize processes using data, technology, and best practices, partnering with enabling functions to implement improvements. Vendor & Stakeholder Management - Act as the primary PSC interface for Southwest Europe with ADP as the payroll service provider. - Own vendor governance, including: - Monitoring and managing service level agreements (SLAs). - Holding vendors accountable for service commitments and issue resolution. - Leading escalation management and root-cause analysis. - Partner closely with Finance, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, and People Systems to ensure seamless, end-to-end process outcomes. HR Transformation & Systems Enablement - Actively contribute to People Support Center transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on standardization, automation, and efficiency. - Support system implementations and enhancements within the region, including: - Functional requirements gathering. - User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilization. - Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll, time, and benefits processes in system and transformation projects. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required - 8–12+ years of progressive experience in Payroll and People Operations roles, including leadership responsibility within a Southwest Europe context. - Strong hands-on and governance-level experience with ADP payroll platforms and associated payroll ecosystems. - Proven track record in managing external payroll vendors, including SLA management and vendor accountability. - Solid understanding of payroll, tax, and employment compliance across Southwest Europe, including the DACH region. - Demonstrated experience contributing to HR transformation and systems modernization initiatives. - Experience supporting system implementations, including requirements definition and UAT. - Exposure to Time & Attendance and Benefits Administration platforms and integrations. - Strong solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance operational rigor and continuous improvement. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. - Fluency in German. - Experience operating within a People Support Center or HR Shared Services model. Online Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Online Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating an online learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of the provided single version master course. Courses are taught completely online in primarily 8-week (rarely 16-week) format. We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach asynchronous online biotechnology regulatory affairs coursework including food and drug law, clinical trials, risk management, and/or product life cycle. These courses are traditionally low enrollment (under ten students) and therefore may be offered at a reduced pay rate depending on actual headcount. The College is currently evaluating its policies and procedures for out of state (remote) workers. Accordingly, only candidates who reside in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan will be considered for this position at this time. Major Responsibilities: - Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives. IvyOnline’s minimum expectations for Online Adjunct Faculty are found in the Academic Support and Operations Manual, Policy 7.5.2. Online Adjunct Faculty are also encouraged to review and implement best practices from the online teaching best practices list. - Make optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods. - Supplement and alter, where appropriate, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
