Job Description Crown Innovations, Inc. is growing and seeking professionals to support critical radar systems upgrades nationwide as part of a major FAA effort to modernize the US National Airspace System. This work enhances the safety, reliability, and efficiency of air traffic operations. Crown is searching for Air Traffic Control Radar System Engineers with experience with digital Primary Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) Systems, such as FAA ASR-9, ASR-11 models, and FAA Secondary Radar System, such as the ATCBI-6/Mode-S or comparable military primary and secondary radar systems to prepare Site Readiness, Design, and Site-Specific Implementation Plans (SSIP). Responsibilities: - System engineers for site design are responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and implementation of new radar installation projects, ensuring alignment with technical, regulatory, and operational requirements. - System engineers for site design in radar systems are responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and implementation of radar equipment installations, ensuring optimal performance and integration within their operational environment. - System Engineers are involved in the entire lifecycle of newly installed radar systems, from initial concept through to in-service support, ensuring that the site design meets technical, operational, and safety standards. - Prepare a System Level Implementation Plan (SLIP) for government approval activities to include Site Surveys, Site Design, Facility Adaptation (Site Preparations), Installation Optimization and check out, acceptance testing, Equipment Cutover - System Engineers will prepare a Site-Specific Implementation Plan (SSIP) for our customer based on a Generic Site Implementation Plan (GSIP) that will include a complete set of drawings, specifications, plans, and design for the accomplishment of all construction, site preparation activities, Installation, optimization, testing, legacy equipment removal and disposition. In addition, the SSIP will include all electrical, mechanical, test equipment and physical installation aspects for the new equipment installation solution to include interfacing with the government-specified demarcation point(s). Qualifications - A background in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field, typically supported by an BSEE or MSEE degree, is required, along with experience in radar system design, testing, and integration. - For Mid-Level Systems Engineer, a minimum of 6 years of experience in radar signal processing, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, antenna performance for the primary and secondary radar systems, and possess the ability to use diagnostic tools and software - For Senior-Level Systems Engineer, a minimum of 12 years of experience in radar signal processing, digital and analog circuits, microprocessors, antenna performance for the primary and secondary radar systems, and possess the ability to use diagnostic tools and software - Knowledge of electronics, radar systems, and troubleshooting is essential, often gained through formal education or specialized technical training. - Proficiency with tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters and signal generators is crucial for system maintenance. - Ability to analyze facility drawings for accuracy and provide red-line changes where appropriate. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools for documenting and creating high level reports. - Specific elements such as structural components, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems, equipment conditions, or network configuration. - Must be a US Citizen - Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Additional Information Visit: www.crownci.com for additional information about Crown Innovations, Inc. • Interpret the customer’s technical enquiry and to design the most cost-effective overall solution for an HVDC installation utilizing the power electronics solutions • Develop an integrated scheme design that meets the Customer’s needs, by developing requirements on the ratings and functionalities of the different HVDC system’s subsystems • Insulation Coordination Studies and determine the temporary and transient overvoltage stresses on HV equipment and provide the protective level requirements for the surge arresters • Manage the lifecycle of high economic value High Voltage equipment such as power transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, capacitors, and surge arresters • Create, verify, and validate the electrical power losses models for HVDC systems and subsystems • Report or resolve any non-conformances in a timely manner • Actively and routinely promote the identification of hazards and near misses to their teams

• Provide day-to-day configuration and administrative support for supply chain tools • Guide users through access requests and ticket submission processes and serve as a primary point of contact for escalations • Act as a liaison between business needs and IT systems, driving efficiency, integration, and user adoption • Serve as a central point of contact for supply chain operations, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and address performance gaps, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement opportunities • Develop a strong understanding of supply chain tools, including but not limited to Oscar, SAP, MTA, Supplier Connect, RFQ, Tungsten, CTSI, and Smartsheet • Support new supply chain users by guiding them through the access request process • Set up supply chain requirements for new projects in Oscar • Maintain and update supply chain user and project information in Oscar, including changes to buyers, sourcing, logistics, and notification contacts • Partner with the Digital team to identify opportunities to improve and simplify existing tools • Prepare standard work instructions for key tool functionalities • Collaborate with Digital, Analytics, and IT teams to enhance data quality, automation, and reporting capabilities • Serve as a supply chain subject matter expert in business reviews, Kaizen events, and transformation initiatives • Manage the execution of multiple interdependent initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource constraints • Support change management and stakeholder communications to enable sustainable implementation of improvements

• Perform preliminary and detailed design of mechanical systems on the BWRX-300 including the steam turbine, turbine auxiliaries, main condenser, condensate, and feedwater systems. • Support mechanical systems design and/or equipment procurement and construction activities, including requirements definition, process calculations and analysis, P&ID preparation, model review, vendor and client coordination, and review and approval of vendor document submittals. • Incorporate component and product design requirements into analyses and design deliverables. • Support the BWRX-300 certification processes for GE Products to address all US NRC (or other nuclear regulator) design certification requirements. • Work within a team environment to execute work plans within budget and schedule. • May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. • Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
