Founded in 1986, OnTrac has evolved into the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses, including five of the largest retailers in the U.S.  Location: REMOTE (MUST be located in the Western US) Pay: $125,600 to $188,400/ year depending on experience and qualifications Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (Hours subject to change depending on business needs) Employment Logistics: The Maintenance Training Manager is in charge of developing, standardizing, and deploying technical training programs for maintenance technicians across OnTrac’s network. This role ensures technicians, from entry-level through senior, have the knowledge, tools, and certifications needed to safely maintain and troubleshoot automated parcel handling equipment. The Maintenance Training Manager partners closely with site leadership, Engineering, and Safety to strengthen technician development, improve uptime, and reduce risk through consistent training standards. Your Mission in Motion: - Build and scale a national training program: Design, implement, and maintain technician training for conveyor systems, sortation equipment, sensors, controls, and preventative maintenance. - Diagnose skill gaps with structured assessments: Conduct assessments, skills audits, and job task analyses to identify training needs across the network. - Deliver blended learning that sticks: Facilitate hands-on, classroom, and virtual training sessions in partnership with OEMs and internal SMEs. - Create clear, reusable training content: Develop SOPs, videos, maintenance manuals, troubleshooting guides, and test procedures to support consistent learning and execution. - Accelerate onboarding and ramp-up: Oversee onboarding and development pathways for new technicians and maintenance leaders. - Prove impact and ensure safety compliance: Evaluate training effectiveness through audits, technician assessments, and uptime/reliability KPIs, while supporting safety programs (lockout/tagout, fall protection, electrical safety) aligned with OSHA, NFPA, and NEC requirements.
