Work, Play and Grow at BlackLine! Make Your Mark: The Senior Learning Specialist is a skilled professional who plays a key role in maximizing the effectiveness of learning and enablement initiatives. This role requires deep accounting experience and BlackLine solution knowledge and the accounting workflows they support. You will be responsible for leading the creation and delivery of high-impact training programs, designing engaging learning programs, and leading cross-functional enablement projects. This specialist applies advanced instructional techniques, adapts content for diverse audiences, and proactively uses feedback and data to refine learning experiences to elevate training quality across the organization. You'll Get To: - Design effective learning programs across multiple modalities, independently creating structured, effective programs tailored for diverse audiences and measurable outcomes. - Deliver engaging virtual and live training sessions on BlackLine solutions for global audiences, facilitating sessions with confidence and adapting to different learning styles. - Demonstrate strong BlackLine Product Knowledge, understanding several products, their integrations, workflows, and value propositions for both internal and external audiences. - Build interactive, story-driven content that improves learner retention, acting as an expert storyteller and innovating within courses to drive participation. - Apply data and learner feedback to optimize training, continuously refining learning experiences based on analytics and feedback. - Use deep product + accounting expertise to create accurate, customer-relevant content and explain integrations, positioning, and value across functions. - Lead cross-functional projects with clear plans, milestones, communication, and execution, managing risks and adjusting plans as needed. - Gain proficiency in primary learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Camtasia), optimizing workflows. - Communicate with clarity and presence, effectively using visual aids and audience engagement techniques in presentation delivery. - Maintain awareness of industry knowledge, including customer profiles and competition. What You'll Bring: Years of Experience in Related Field: - 5+ years of hands-on accounting/finance operations experience - Knowledge of 2 BlackLine solutions - Experience in training delivery, instructional design, or skilled in presentation delivery Education: - Accounting background (degree or 5+ years of hands-on accounting/finance operations experience) - BS/BA degree. Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Proficiency in two or more BlackLine products. - Training delivery, instructional design, or enablement experience. - Strong facilitation skills in live and virtual presentation environments. - Willingness to learn instructional design models and course development tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Camtasia). - Ability to use analytics and feedback to improve learning experiences. - Strong communication and project management abilities, including leading cross-functional enablement projects from start to finish. - Deep working knowledge of products and their value in real-world use cases. Pay Transparency Statement: Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans. The Licensure Specialist is a critical member of the team that facilitates the licenses, prescriptive authority, controlled substances, and DEA approvals for cross state practitioners. The successful candidate should be detail oriented, with excellent communication skills and have working knowledge of state rules and regulations as it pertains to state licenses, DEAs, prescriptive authority, and controlled substances. You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Hours: Ability to work normal business hours within your time zone such as 8:00am to 5:00pm Primary Responsibilities: - Own the end-to-end licensure process for practitioners; actively contributes in helping to meet and improve turn-around timelines for licensing - Supports Optum’s growth and expansion into new markets by obtaining the required state licenses, DEA, prescriptive authority, and or controlled substance certificate to practice in order to meet key deliverables - Collaborates with the Credentialing team and provides updates on licenses so practitioners can be credentialed with the health plans - Renew expiring licenses and certifications on behalf of and in cooperation with practitioners of select groups - Facilitate payment for application and renewal fees according to accounting guidelines - Maintain licensing database on pending requests; data entry required - Observe Optum Health policies and procedures, client contract requirements, local state and federal rules and regulations - Facilitate malpractice insurance applications and certificate updates for state specific funds where required - Other administrative duties as determined - Reports directly to the Manager, Licensure Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: - Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Effective interpersonal skills Education and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
