Principal Product Manager, Unstructured Data & AI

• Independently leads and drives the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for one or more complex storage products or a product portfolio • Builds and delivers the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to market • Guides key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle • Creates and drives goal alignment and collaborates across one or more products' value chain partners to optimize margins
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field
- 10+ years of work experience in related field
- Technical understanding and knowledge of storage, distributed systems, storage and cloud
- Extensive skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis
- Extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection
- Technical understanding and knowledge of the storage, infrastructure or cloud industry

• Manage product and project backlogs for multiple SaaS/internal products including Epics, Feature, User Stories, Bugs, and tasks • Ensure consistent intake, triage, tagging, prioritization, and assignment of all product and engineering work items. • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research to ensure stories are clear, testable, and aligned to product goals. • Track sprint progress, dependencies, blockers, and delivery milestones; escalate risks proactively. • Build dashboards and reporting views for leadership on throughput, velocity, backlog health, and cycle time. • Collaborate with Product Manager and Product Owners to translate business needs into structured, well-defined features, user stories with acceptance criteria. • Support grooming, sprint planning, and cross-functional alignment on requirements. • Ensure documentation across products remains organized, version-controlled, and easily accessible. • Maintain crosswalks between project management items and client commitments, internal deliverables, and operational processes. • Coordinate product operations tasks (e.g., dataset refreshes, quality checks, dashboard updates). • Partner with data engineering and QA to ensure data pipelines are represented correctly within project workflows. • Track testing cycles, defects, validations, and signoffs for new data processes and product features. • Identify bottlenecks in product and data workflows; propose and implement scalable solutions. • Improve consistency in story writing, sprint hygiene, testing documentation, and release processes. • Help drive automation and efficiency initiatives across OG and KDS workflows (aligned with PS strategic themes)
