Responsibilities - Create and maintain a program to identify best practices, design process and procedure documents, and socialize those across the AMER Region. - Create lessons learned documentation, best practices, and innovations on existing process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity in post-RNI activities/ - Utilize your knowledge to train, equip, and empower local teams to build and maintain a network which will support their campus through its entire lifecycle. - Collaborate with other DC Ops Regions and global teams to align post-RNI processes and procedures globally. - Create and manage end-to-end network project plans and ensure on time delivery. - Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities. - Establish and enhance strong working relationships with customers in the network space. - Collaborate directly with site management and third-party vendors at new campuses and data centers to align best practices and deliver new locations quickly and reliably. - Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end network project plans with stakeholders and teams. - Perform day-to-day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and quality. - Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution. - Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning and execution - Learn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values. Qualifications Required Qualifications: - High School Qualification or equivalent AND 3+ years of experience supporting IT equipment, related technology, or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments - OR equivalent experience. Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: - Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Data Center Operations Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,600 - $202,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,500 - $225,800 per year.
