About the Role MiniMed.com is seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Designer to lead experience design across our direct-to-consumer and ecommerce transformation initiatives. This role will shape how customers discover, evaluate, purchase, onboard, and engage with MiniMed products and services across digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate can move fluidly from future-state vision and journey mapping to wireframes, prototypes, testing, and polished execution. They bring strong experience designing for complex digital ecosystems, translating emerging capabilities into intuitive customer experiences, and partnering closely with product, marketing, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes. This person should be equally comfortable defining the experience strategy and driving the tactical design work needed to bring it to life. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. - Lead design for key D2C and ecommerce initiatives across MiniMed.com, including product discovery, consideration, conversion, onboarding, retention, and account experiences. - Translate business goals, customer needs, technical constraints, and platform opportunities into clear, intuitive digital experiences. - Create customer journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that improve usability, conversion, and long-term engagement. - Design scalable interaction models and experience frameworks that can support multiple touchpoints, user needs, and future digital capabilities. - Partner with product managers, engineers, marketers, and cross-functional leaders to define vision, prioritize opportunities, and accelerate execution. - Conduct user research, interviews, and testing to validate concepts, identify friction points, and inform roadmap direction. - Help shape the end-to-end experience strategy for ecommerce transformation, ensuring consistency across the customer lifecycle. - Contribute to design systems, interaction patterns, and best practices that enable speed, consistency, and scalability across teams. - Present design rationale and influence senior stakeholders through clear storytelling, prototypes, and customer-centered recommendations. - Use data, research, and customer insight to continuously optimize experiences and improve business performance. Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires a Baccalaureate Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in digital product design, UX/UI, service design, or ecommerce experience design. - Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work across complex digital products, customer journeys, and transactional or account-based experiences. - Experience designing for D2C, ecommerce, customer experience transformation, or digitally enabled service ecosystems. - Ability to move from strategy to execution, including journey mapping, concept development, prototyping, testing, and delivery. - Strong systems thinking, with the ability to simplify complexity into intuitive, scalable experiences. - Experience designing interaction models, experience frameworks, or reusable patterns that can scale across a broader platform or ecosystem. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product, engineering, marketing, and senior business stakeholders. - Ability to influence direction through strong communication, facilitation, and design storytelling. - Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma. - Experience using customer research, behavioral insights, and analytics to inform design decisions. - Comfort operating in fast-moving transformation environments where ambiguity, iteration, and influence are critical. - Experience improving multi-step customer flows such as discovery, comparison, signup, checkout, onboarding, or account management. - Experience in service design and journey-based transformation work across large-scale digital experiences. - Familiarity with experimentation, conversion optimization, and digital growth initiatives. - Experience contributing to or evolving design systems in complex organizations. - Experience translating new technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, into intuitive and high-value user experiences. - Experience working in healthcare, wellness, regulated environments, or other high-consideration consumer decision journeys is a plus. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. You are an experienced Outside Plant (OSP) Designer, responsible for detailed design of OSP elements (aerial and/or underground) and fiber designs of telecommunication networks. You'll be an integral part of the engineering team and will design networks using a variety of tools, including AutoCAD and SpatialNET, ensuring constructability issues are incorporated into the network designs. You are capable of planning, designing and detail engineering for the deployment of Fiber infrastructure across Canada for various types of projects. Essential Responsibilities: - Design new civil telecom infrastructure on both private and public property. Job Summary: The Home Experience Designer is responsible for taking input from the sales staff, completing an original design and proposal, and turning it into a functional system to install. The Designer provides all documentation used for building the system. While the Lighting & Shade Control Designer should understand and support all products lines sold by the company, their main role is to serve as the subject matter expert for lighting & shade control. Qualifications: The Home Experience Designer must possess an understanding of all AV systems while having a distinct proficiency with lighting and shade control.
