• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of software engineers, and QA specialists. • Manage frontend, backend, and mobile app development engineers and serve as a player-coach, contributing to design and implementation when needed. • Set clear performance expectations and nurture an environment of continuous improvement and accountability. • Provide guidance on technical problem solving and career development, ensuring team engagement and cohesion. • Develop and execute a technical roadmap that aligns with Binance.US business goals and supports platform growth across web and mobile ecosystems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Security, Compliance, Operations) to drive the development and deployment of innovative features. • Implement and enforce best practices for software engineering, code quality, documentation, and testing. • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of platform services and integrate with vendor platforms. • Ensure these services meet high standards for reliability, scalability, and security to support real-time trading activities. • Drive continuous improvements, including the adoption of modern architectures, microservices, and automation to streamline operations. • Collaborate with the security and compliance teams to integrate robust security measures into the platform’s development lifecycle. • Oversee the implementation of monitoring systems and incident response protocols to protect against potential breaches and threats. • Act as a bridge between technical teams and executive leadership, clearly articulating technical strategies, progress, and challenges. • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to provide transparency into project statuses and roadmap progress.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record managing software engineering teams in high-stakes, fast-paced environments, preferably in fintech or cryptocurrency sectors.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in system architecture, distributed systems, and API integrations.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java and Go, along with a strong understanding of modern development frameworks.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Exposure to fiat payment systems, user registration flows, and regulatory compliance systems such as KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
