We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the CFO in a fast-growing SaaS environment. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently once onboarded. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling sensitive financial information and operating in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment. This is initially a 9–12 month contract role, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance. 🎯 Key Responsibilities - Prepare and manage monthly journal entries - Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records - Handle revenue recognition in a SaaS environment - Support financial audits, including preparation of documentation and schedules - Review and validate payroll bookings and reconciliations - Review, prepare, and post journal entries - Manage accounting across multiple currencies and international bank accounts - Collaborate closely with the CFO on financial processes and reporting - Contribute to cash flow forecasting (future responsibility) ✅ Must-Have Requirements Proven experience with: - Ramp - Chargebee - Xero - Revenue recognition - Reconciliations and journal entries - Audit preparation - Excel (required) - Power Query or advanced spreadsheet tools - Experience working with multi-currency transactions - Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting C-level executives (e.g., CFO) - Exposure to cash flow forecasting and financial planning - Background in international or multi-entity accounting environments 🛠 Core Competencies - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - High level of accountability and reliability - Ability to work autonomously - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Discretion in handling sensitive financial data 🌍 Logistics Timezone: PST working hours required Contract: 9–12 months (with potential for permanent conversion) * By applying to this position, we’ll create your Simera Professional Key (SPK) — a unique key that helps you connect with employers, stand out, and secure the right match.
