Manual QA Engineer

• Perform rigorous functional and exploratory testing on the Dev environment for all new features, catching bugs before they ever touch production. • Verify complex access controls across core modules (Relationship, Profile Hub, Activities) to ensure data security and proper user-level segregation. • Participate in UAT cross-testing, auditing features handled by other team members to identify edge cases and hidden logic gaps. • Execute comprehensive manual regression suites before every weekly release to ensure our rapid pace of innovation never compromises existing stability. • Prepare and maintain detailed manual test cases based on Jira tickets, ensuring the testing scope matches the business "ask." • Collaborate directly with Developers and Product Owners to review coverage and conduct Go-To-Market (GTM) demos to prove feature readiness. • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any escapes to improve upstream processes and act as a champion for Shift-Left testing principles.

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in API testing (Postman) and the ability to write SQL/Database queries to verify data integrity.
  • A natural ability to identify complex edge cases, particularly in high-stakes areas like multi-currency tranches or granular data room permissions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and experience with tools like Jira, Testpad, or Bugasura.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; you can explain technical bottlenecks clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in FinTech or B2B platform software. We also value an interest in using AI tools to generate test data or summarize complex logs
