Meet the team: The Territory Business Manager represents Dexcom, calling on physicians, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other institutions focusing on diabetes care and providing technical expertise to customers regarding Dexcom’s products to support continued and expanded use. Where you come in: - Influence and support high and low-prescribing CGM physicians, diabetes education nurses, other health care professionals, office/hospital administrative staff, and durable medical equipment providers to prescribe Dexcom products to their patients. - Train healthcare professionals to use Dexcom products and integrate them into practice. - Represent Dexcom at local, regional, and national trade shows and diabetes exhibits to promote Dexcom products to a broad diabetes community - Provide education on Dexcom products to pharmacies within the assigned territory. - Partner with market access, trade, government affairs, district and territory sales teams, and other departments to facilitate territory sales growth. - You will increase Dexcom’s market share and meet/exceed district/territory sales targets and KPIs in line with company expectations. - Implement Dexcom strategy and monitor progress towards sales goal achievement using Dexcom analytical tools. - Responsible and accountable for meeting territory sales goals as assigned - Complete all administrative requirements in a timely fashion as directed by management. What makes you successful: - Work requires significant teamwork and collaboration with district and territory sales teams to achieve sales targets and KPIs. - Requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license, automobile insurance, and satisfactory driving record as determined by company policy - Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evening work. - Previous medical and pharma sales experience with a high sales success track record preferred. - Previous sales experience that is non-medical and pharma will be considered. - Diabetes disease state knowledge is a plus. The Job: As the Regional Manager you will be part of the Retail Field Sales team working as a field employee in your region. You'll need to be able to analyze your business, present to key decision makers provide business solutions, conduct training for store associates and sell to end users all while providing service to our retail partners. You will support corporate marketing initiatives and your mission will be to ensure those strategies are implemented at the store level while maintaining knowledge of the current industry and competitive landscape. - Managing a team of Retail Territory Managers in your region and coaching them through the objectives of the field team - Driving Top Line Sales to deliver your quarterly and annual POS Goals and partnering with Store and District Managers to understand and align our strategies with their goals while communicating sales opportunities, issues, and trends. - Influencing the Key Decisions Makers (KDM) on store level placement of national promotions and analyzing POS by store and promotional performance to develop individualized store and territory sales plans. - Work closely with the Sales Operations team to inform them of your needs to ensure proper inventory for promotional activities. - Drive execution strategy based on trends and SKU level detail by analyzing the Power BI and SalesForce and maintain compliance with retailer specific Plan-o-gram. - Selling In and executing the national event activations and overdrive strategies to drive sales and gain market share, as well as developing and driving local territory activations. - Partnering with retail service partners which will require active store and district level engagement inclusive of monthly district meetings and quality walks to assess servicing accountability and drive corrective actions. - Leveraging sales enablement tools to analyze data to identify sales gaps and create sales plans to close sales gaps. - Execute monthly job site visits aligned with your retailers’ pro strategies to provide product training, new product seeding, end user conversions, etc. to deliver pro target POS goals and actively engage with professional end users to drive sales.
