Network Engineer

ScalableOS

• Work closely with the NOC Manager and technical teams to maintain high service levels and optimal uptime. • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand technical requirements and resolve issues efficiently. • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network-related incidents, coordinating with providers and partners when necessary. • Deploy and maintain BGP sessions across trading, WAN, and public network infrastructures. • Monitor, analyze, and optimize network resources including routers, switches, and uplinks. • Support the provisioning and expansion of network infrastructure, including new Points of Presence (PoPs). • Follow strict change control processes, including preparing and presenting changes to a Change Advisory Board (CAB). • Assist in delivering new services such as servers, firewalls, GRE tunnels, and other infrastructure components. • Ensure incidents are managed effectively with clear communication until full resolution. • Continuously stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to ongoing improvements.

Job Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a network engineering or support role.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing and switching.
  • Hands-on experience or exposure to BGP and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems (e.g., iptables, server installations).
  • Basic experience with Windows Server environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.
  • Good communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
