As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating new and repeat business, promoting ICON’s Phase II–III services, and building strong client relationships across your assigned territory. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global CRO environment, driving growth and contributing to strategic partnerships across the industry. What You Will Be Doing: - Generate new and repeat business opportunities across the assigned territory within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Device industries. - Promote ICON’s Phase II–III services and position the organization as a preferred partner in drug development. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting long-term partnerships and business growth. - Work cross-functionally to support proposal development and bid defense processes, ensuring competitive and high-quality submissions. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery across all stages of the business development process. - Identify and pursue new market opportunities, expanding ICON’s presence within the region. - Leverage industry networks to support business development and partnership opportunities. - Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and support expansion within global markets. Your Profile: - Proven experience in solutions sales within a CRO environment. - 10+ years of experience in business development within global studies and ability to expand market presence independently. - Strong understanding of global clinical research, with exposure to large pharmaceutical companies and global studies, including experience working with India-based customers. - Preference for experience in selling Phase II–III solutions; however, candidates with broader clinical sales backgrounds (including labs or related services) will be considered. - Strong relationship management and networking capabilities within the industry. - Ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment and drive business growth initiatives. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. #LI-KT1 What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
