Геймдизайнер / Game Designer (разработка игры Potion Craft и других проектов) Мы (niceplay games) больше всего известны как разработчики инди-хита Potion Craft. На данный момент это наш основной проект – мы работаем над апдейтами, дополнениями, новым контентом и фичами. Также ведётся работа по портированию на различные платформы. Мы – remote-first компания с культурой, основанной на доверии и открытой и честной коммуникации. Мы умеем делать залипательные игры с нестандартным геймплеем, уникальным визуальным стилем и (местами чрезмерным) вниманием к деталям – если вам близок такой подход, вам у нас понравится! Кого мы ищем В нашу команду нужен опытный уверенный геймдизайнер широкого профиля на игру Potion Craft и другие проекты компании. Игра находится в активной разработке с 2019 года и продолжает развиваться. За это время она обросла фундаментальными системами, документацией, гайдлайнами и таблицами, на основе которых будет строиться дальнейший дизайн и баланс, и в развитии которых вам тоже предстоит участвовать. Мы хотим найти крутого специалиста с большим опытом разработки игр, который будет работать напрямую с гейм-директором и будет с ним всегда на одной волне. Нам нужен самостоятельный и ответственный человек, которому можно будет со временем доверить всю основную работу по геймдизайну Potion Craft – чтобы не нужно было перепроверять и переживать, что работа сделана не так, как изначально договаривались. Мы ищем человека для долгого сотрудничества, который идеально впишется в команду по духу и отношению к играм и разработке, чтобы вместе расти и развиваться и делать ещё более крутые проекты и фичи. Нам интересны люди с разным опытом, и мы всегда открыты к конструктивному фидбэку и обмену опытом, поэтому вы также сможете участвовать в улучшении подходов к работе с документацией и таблицами, улучшении дебажных инструментов и формата работы с остальными членами команды. Нужно будет работать с новым контентом и фичами, текстами, локализацией, балансом, UX, контролами, нюансами различных платформ, разрешением эдж-кейсов в дизайне, полишингом и файнтюнингом контролов и коллайдеров, дебаггингом в Unity, тестированием свежих билдов игры, и в целом заниматься формированием новых ещё более крутых версий игры и новых проектов, поэтому впереди много разных интересных задач и большой потенциал для роста по различным направлениям. Примеры задач - Придумывание и расчёт баланса и паттернов новых ингредиентов, а также их настройка в проекте. - Дизайн и баланс новых алхимических карт для новых основ зелий. - Придумывание и баланс новых эффектов зелий, которые хорошо впишутся в мир и будут иметь хороший потенциал для новых заказов клиентов. - Придумывание и вставка в игру новых клиентов, торговцев и классов NPC. - Полишинг и файн-тюнинг настроек для улучшения гейм-фила и контролов новых фичей и контента. Например донастройка коллайдеров, скоростей, изингов и прочих настроек в Unity. - Написание и оформление документации и задач для новых фичей и контента с последующим ведением и доработкой. - Предложение реворка или ребаланса плохо работающих фич и механик. - Заведение новых ключей локализации для нового контента и вставка локализованных ключей в игру. - R&D новых проектов и прототипов. Требования - Хорошее знакомство с игрой Potion Craft с полным пониманием всех основных механик и понимающий ценность тех или иных решений. Если вам не интересен Potion Craft в текущем виде, мы вряд ли найдём общий язык. - Любовь к играм и разнообразный игровой опыт, который постоянно пополняется. Если вы не живёте играми, не занимаетесь постоянным анализом и чужих проектов, не следите за индустрией и ваш опыт за последний год состоит из одной GAAS-игры, то нам не по пути. - Страсть к разработке и стремление создавать проработанные качественные игры с высоким вниманием к деталям. Если вы живёте и работаете по принципу “и так сойдёт”, мы не сработаемся. - Наличие любых проектов, даже если они не завершены (в том числе личных хобби-проектов). - Опыт работы ГД, продюсером или гейм-директором (на чужих или своих игровых проектах). - Опыт удалённой работы и уверенность в том, что такой формат вам подходит. - Готовность к принятию рамок и ценностей компании, а также иерархии, в том числе по части геймдизайна. Мы очень ценим и стараемся давать творческую свободу, а также поощряем конструктивную дискуссию и фидбэк, но не факт, что все финальные решения будут на 100% совпадающими с вашим вижном в моменте (поэтому если вы хотите устроиться в компанию с идеей переделать половину игры – это плохая идея). - Умение писать понятные и хорошо структурированные тексты. - Умение составлять понятную и наглядную документацию с иллюстрациями и учётом различных нюансов и эдж-кейсов. - Продвинутые навыки работы с таблицами Google Sheets (умение работы с формулами, условным форматированием, графиками и т.д.) - Хорошее понимание UI/UX (многие задачи могут быть связаны с новыми интерфейсами, а также мы уделяем особое внимание приятному UX в наших играх и инструментах разработки). - Хорошее знание английского (называть объекты в проекте и документации, искать/понимать информацию в англоязычных источниках, иногда общаться с англоязычными коллегами из партнёрских компаний – портировщики, издатель и т.д.). - На данный момент не рассматриваем работу из России, но можем обсудить варианты с переездом. - Самостоятельность и самоорганизованность. - Честность и открытость. - Умение работать в заданных гайдлайнах и правилах, а также участвовать в их разработке. - Умение и желание работать в команде. Deliverables/Outputs - Layout and design of annual reports for multiple initiative donors, ensuring clarity, visual consistency, and alignment with UNICEF and donor-specific guidelines; - Consolidation and organization of all visual assets produced throughout the contract, ensuring proper categorization, accessibility, and usability for future initiatives; - Development of a structured visual repository, including basic design guidelines (e.g., templates, visual standards, and usage recommendations) to ensure continuity of communication efforts; - Final support for communication materials, including any pending or high-priority outputs. - Provide a knowledge transfer process to the 1MiO communications team, including guidance on the use of templates, visual systems, and asset organization; - Ensure that all files, working documents, and editable materials are properly delivered, documented, and accessible. Estimate Budget (7,5%) DURATION OF CONTRACT 365 days TRAVEL PLAN - The consultancy may require travel to São Paulo and/or Brasília, as needed to support in-person meetings and key activities. It is expected that at least three (3) trips will be undertaken during the contract period. The activities will be carried out remotely, with an estimated 3 trips during the entire year: - 1 travel to Brasília and 2 travels to São Paulo municipality. Each trip is estimated in 2 to 4 days. - The consultant is responsible for arranging his/her own travel, including travel insurance. - All travel fees must be included in the financial proposal MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT - Degree in Design, Arts or related fields. - A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience at national or international levels in Design. - Experience in UN system agency or organization is an asset. - Fluency in Portuguese and basic English is required. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset. - Knowledge on children’s rights issues, including the Convention of Rights of the Child and the Statute of the Child and the Adolescent. - Experience in Design. - Teamwork skills and capacity to work with tight deadlines. - Knowledge in the use of digital media tools and social media. Consultants are asked to stipulate all-inclusive fees, including lump sum, administrative cost, travel cost and subsistence costs, as applicable. - Financial proposals from local consultants shall be submitted in the local currency in effect at the time of submission. UNICEF will evaluate and contract based on this amount, which shall remain fixed and not subject to adjustment due to subsequent exchange rate fluctuations. Remarks: Individuals engaged under a consultancy will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants. Consultants are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws. The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. Selected candidates are subject to confirmation of fully-vaccinated status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a World Health Organization (WHO)-endorsed vaccine, which must be met prior to taking up the assignment.
