• Conduct audits of client digital properties to ensure analytics, tagging, and data pipelines are correctly configured. • Design and implement analytics measurement frameworks aligned to client business, marketing, and product strategies. • Advise on and support event‑driven analytics, data layers, and tagging strategies across web, mobile, CRM, and marketing platforms. • Design and build dashboards, reports, and self‑service views using BI and visualization tools. • Troubleshoot data integrity, tracking, and pipeline issues across platforms and vendors. • Document implementations and lead enablement sessions to establish analytics best practices. • Lead stakeholder conversations to deeply understand business goals and translate them into measurement and insight requirements. • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic recommendations across UX, content, marketing, and product. • Develop testable hypotheses related to acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and experience quality. • Recommend experimentation strategies (A/B testing, personalization, SEO testing, CRO) tied to defined KPIs. • Connect insights across multiple data sources to tell a coherent, actionable story. • Identify analytics workflows that can be accelerated or augmented using AI (e.g., automated insights, anomaly detection, summarization, forecasting, and trend identification). • Leverage AI‑assisted tools to support: Data exploration and pattern discovery, Narrative generation and executive summaries, Experiment analysis and insight synthesis. • Partner with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to pilot AI‑enabled analytics capabilities within client engagements. • Contribute to Phase2’s evolving AI‑native delivery patterns and analytics playbooks. • Advise clients on data collection best practices in alignment with privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements. • Partner with teams to ensure data quality, taxonomy consistency, and measurement governance. • Help clients understand tradeoffs, limitations, and risks within their data and technology ecosystems. • Own analytics workstreams end-to-end, serving as a de-facto workstream lead responsible for insight quality, delivery timelines, and managing client expectations from discovery through recommendation. • Mentor junior analysts, oversee contractor work and support capability development within the Data & Insights team. • Contribute to sales and marketing efforts through thought leadership, presentations, webinars, and proposals. • Act as a trusted analytics advisor to clients and internal teams.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, or data analysis in an agency or consulting environment.
  • Deep expertise with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, along with broader experience with enterprise analytics and tag management platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Tealium iQ, Adobe Launch, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end digital measurement across websites, mobile, CRM, email, and marketing platforms.
  • Experience with AI‑assisted analytics, machine learning‑supported insights, or automated reporting workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with web and app development teams to configure, test, and validate analytics implementations across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Strong, hands-on experience working with raw data, including writing complex SQL queries, building or supporting data pipelines (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch, dbt), and querying data warehouses and cloud platforms such as GCP, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks to power analysis beyond dashboards.
  • Proven experience designing conversion tracking, funnels, goals, and event‑based measurement models.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or Datorama.
  • Strong CRO and experimentation background, including interpreting test results and making recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear narratives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with attention to detail and accuracy.

ICF’s Disaster Management Division is seeking a Summer Intern to support the Tech & Standards (T&S) practice. The T&S team focuses on developing and implementing technology-enabled solutions that support disaster recovery programs, grants management systems, and operational tools used by state and local governments. The intern will support teams across the Technology & Analytics and emerging technology initiatives within the Technology & Standards Practice. This role will work alongside Data Solutions Specialists, Geospatial Solutions Architects, and field technology teams to support research, documentation, and development of tools that improve disaster recovery program delivery. This is a full-time, 10-week internship expected to start early June 2026. The work may be fully remote from anywhere in the United States. At this time, ICF is unable to provide relocation or housing assistance. Pay is expected to be $23 per hour. What You Will Do The Technology & Standards Summer Intern will support internal technology initiatives and client-facing solutions that enable disaster recovery programs.
