The Opportunity This position is a strategic product line owner in the company and is responsible for overall growth and profitability of assigned product lines (Predictive Analytics, Velera AI Assistant). The position will design the product vision, cultivate and execute strategies, conduct technical analysis and execution, monitor product compliance and mandates, create business plans and deliver sales support to drive profitability and penetration results. The incumbent will develop and manage budget for each assigned product and any associated marketing campaigns. In addition, this position will gather and prioritize product, market drivers, industry trends, customer requirements, and launch new business and technical solutions to help deliver winning payment solutions to the industry. Day in the Life - Create, manage, and implement an annual strategic plan, marketing plan and budget and administer all plans to ensure alignment with company objectives. - Responsible for forecasting line revenue and profitability by gathering and analyzing internal capabilities and capacity, market demand, and external competitive information. - Manage and direct development of all product commercialization duties, inclusive of sales strategies focusing on solution differentiation, pricing comparisons, advertising methodology, marketing approach, competitive comparisons, and cost/benefit analysis for solution participants. - Partner with Marketing Services to create and prepare advertising and promotional materials for products and solutions for member credit unions and consumers. - Partner with member credit unions and advisory group credit unions for select market evaluation, research, surveys, focus groups, and pilot testing. - Be an expert on market trends effecting solution offerings to maximize market opportunities and minimize the negative effects of competitive activity. - Create and publish or present thought leadership regarding trends and usage of assigned product lines. - Ensure effective communication of pertinent information to internal staff and external member-owners relating to new solution initiatives and existing solution enhancements. - Lead and participate in meetings to support the executive committees throughout developmental stages to track and communicate progress; participate in various Velera, Vendor, Partners, financial institution executives or other advisory groups or committees. - Maintain current knowledge of the latest industry trends and integrate them into product line where appropriate; consult credit unions on best practices relating to product. - Communicate and routinely update solution performance information to senior leadership. - Represent and support Velera personnel at sales meetings, vendor and partner meetings, trade shows, financial institution site visits and association functions. - Direct the development of product documentation, procedures, training and marketing materials. - Conduct technical analysis, determine technical product direction and direct development. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. - Combined seven (7) years of experience in product management, agile project management, product marketing, technical product implementations, and/or business systems analysis supporting technical products required, with a minimum of two (2) years in product management required. - Functional knowledge of Predictive Analytics and Velera AI Assistant is highly preferred. - Experience using data visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau is preferred. - Experience using Data Bricks, Snowflake, basic SQL and basic API knowledge is preferred. - Experience with product budgeting and revenue forecasting required. - Experience with the financial, credit union industry and core or account processing required. This individual must possess a strong understanding of datacenter Artificial Intelligence (AI) computing to include AI server and AI storage requirements. This individual will be a product leader in this rapidly growing business, working closely with multiple functional teams within Celestica to drive the development of platforms that help Enterprises and Service Providers transform their businesses using AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hardware technologies such as AI servers and have experience with hardware & software product management to include understanding the full product lifecycle (cradle to grave). The candidate will own critical product line management responsibilities and be an active contributor in setting up processes to increase the impact of strong product management practices. This opportunity requires excellent business, technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Detailed Description - Drive AI compute product strategy and establish optimal roadmap to include new products and services. - Understand what will make AI compute portfolio competitive and define winning features, pricing, launch/GA targets, and positioning in the market. - Develop the product business cases to secure funding for new Celestica platforms and driving MRDs / PRDs through creation, review, and approval. - Ensure timely execution of all product phase gate reviews and drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment. - Influence and support Sales/Marketing Go-To-Market strategy, product positioning and messaging in the market. - Track actual performance against business case plan and oversee product P&L, sales enablement, and sustaining escalations. - Support product EOL strategy, planning, and execution.
