• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring high performance, strong collaboration, and continuous skill development. • Define and drive the data engineering roadmap aligned with enterprise analytics strategy. • Partner with Finance, BI, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. • Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of data pipelines, data models, and ETL/ELT processes across Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric. • Architect and optimize Snowflake environments, including warehouse sizing, performance tuning, security, and cost management. • Lead the development of robust semantic models and datasets to support Power BI reporting and self-service. • Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation standards are consistently applied. • Build and maintain enterprise-grade data models (star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension structures). • Support Finance with data structures that enable forecasting, GL reporting, profitability analysis, and other financial analytics. • Collaborate with BI developers to ensure models are optimized for Power BI performance and usability. • Implement best practices for CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment of data pipelines and models. • Monitor and troubleshoot data refreshes, pipeline failures, and performance issues. • Drive automation and efficiency improvements across the data engineering lifecycle.

Job Summary The HIM Data Integrity Specialist maintains the master patient index (MPI) which is a critical business function and patient safety resource; it links a patient to demographics, clinical and financial information. The MPI must contain accurate, timely, and complete data that includes a single identifier for each patient registered. The HIM Data Integrity Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining patient data integrity within the MPI for the EHR system. This includes remediation of duplicate medical record numbers, medical record overlays and assisting with correction of any clinical and demographic information. Qualifications Education Required: - High School Diploma or equivalent Licenses/Certifications Required: - None Work Experience Required: - 2+ years of experience in HIM Data Integrity. - Experience working with Epic with an emphasis on resolving duplicate medical record numbers, resolving overlays, and chart corrections. Preferred Qualifications, Education, Licenses, Certifications, Experience, etc.: - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HIM or equivalent experience. - RHIT/RHIA certification. - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to analyze complex information and use critical thinking skills to determine appropriate solutions and necessary merges to protect the integrity of the EMPI. - Excellent verbal and communication skills and strong customer service skills. - Ability to be flexible, adapt well to change, and able to work as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to understand work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing and meeting established performance and KPI goals. - Ability to be flexible, versatile, adaptable and facilitate work in a complex, face-paced, multisite healthcare environment. - This role involves interaction and collaboration with other departments and requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills. - Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Performs medical record number merges, patient data corrections, and medical record overlay corrections in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. - Processes requests for chart corrections and prioritizes all requests around patient care and safety. - Works from reports and queues to resolve all issues in a timely and accurate manner. - Proactively and independently solves problems and operates with a high level of accuracy by investigating complex patient identity discrepancies, analyzing multiple data points across Epic, eCW, and other EMR systems, and independently determining the appropriate corrective action (e.g., duplicate MRN merges, overlay resolution, demographic corrections) while adhering to established HIM policies and patient safety standards. - Exhibits excellence in communication, feedback, precision, and follow by clearly documenting findings and actions taken, coordinating corrections with clinical, revenue cycle, IT, and external partners, and ensuring all downstream systems are notified and updated.
