Front Office Automated Operations Engineer

Join our Team About this opportunity We are looking for a FO Automated Operations Engineer to monitor, analyze and handle transmission network incidents in an operational environment. The role is responsible for ensuring network availability, performance and service continuity by managing alarms, troubleshooting faults and coordinating with field teams and vendors. What you will do - Monitor and manage Transmission network alarms using NMS/ENM tools. - Handle Trouble Tickets (TTs) within agreed SLA and operational targets. - Perform first-level troubleshooting and isolate faults. - Identify service impact and prepare Impact Reports for major incidents. - Escalate critical issues to second-line support, field teams, or vendors. - Coordinate with cross-domain teams (RAN, IP, Core) during outages. - Ensure service restoration and validate network stability after recovery. - Maintain proper shift handover with clear updates on open incidents. - Ensure compliance with operational processes and incident management procedures. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce repeated incidents What you will bring - Education: BSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent. - 3+ years of experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment. - Strong understanding of mobile network architecture (2G, 3G, 4G, VOLTE and 5G technologies). - Good knowledge in CCNA and CCNP - Strong understanding of microwave transmission systems. - Knowledge of IP Networks. - Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of network issues. - Programming knowledge is a plus. - Ownership and accountability. - Ability to work under pressure during critical outages. - Effective communication and clear reporting skills. - Decision-making capability in high-impact situations. - Fluency in English - Flexibility - this is a 24/7 rotational shift schedule. Handling first level support requests from the client IT service management application. b. Reviewing the online tickets (Service Requests or Incident) in the client service management application c. Manages Operational Activities of the (“SOR”) Solution i. Monitoring the application service node, process, batch jobs, files system, application log files, process utilization, transaction queues, cron jobs, automated processes, transaction declines (business or technical). ii. Troubleshooting issues and support maintenance of application processes. iii. Investigates known error conditions and follows prescribed error correction procedures. iv. Recognize abnormal processing conditions and determine appropriate actions required to resolve issues. v. Execute scheduled jobs as per the standard operating document. vi. Support installation of change request (customizations, configurations) of the application in the Client’s environment using Clients standard develop process. vii. Logging incident tickets with the Application Support Centre (“ASC”). viii. Follows escalation procedures within the Client or with the Level 2, as and when appropriate to report processing issues. ix.
