Database Management Analyst

iQuasar is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database Management Analyst III to join our team. As the Database Management Analyst III (IDE Manager / CAM) is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing database management operations, software development environments, and integrated development processes supporting mission-critical systems. The position requires extensive experience in engineering or information technology and the ability to lead technical teams involved in software development and computer-based training systems. The ideal candidate will manage development environments, coordinate configuration and asset management activities, and ensure database and software lifecycle processes align with organizational security and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain enterprise database systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security - Oversee Integrated Development Environment (IDE) operations and Configuration and Asset Management (CAM) processes. - Lead and coordinate technical teams supporting software development and computer-based training systems. - Support development and maintenance of Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software. - Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. - Collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to design and implement database solutions. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies. - Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. - Maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. - Support integration of database systems with enterprise applications and training platforms. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. - The Government will accept a minimum of 18 years of professional experience related to the labor category in lieu of a degree. - More than 15 years of professional experience in engineering or IT. - Demonstrated experience managing database systems and development environments. - Experience leading technical teams in software development and computer-based training systems. - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) - Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
