The Opportunity We are seeking a Licensed Clinician to provide person-focused therapeutic services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises of varying acuity, including those related to mental health, substance use, and withdrawal. As part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will conduct assessments, deliver crisis interventions, coordinate referrals, and help individuals and families develop outcome-based treatment goals that support long-term recovery and stability. What You’ll Do Provide a full range of crisis and stabilization services for clients with diverse behavioral health needs. Conduct behavioral health assessments for individuals in acute crisis. Collaborate with peers, nurses, and other professionals to deliver crisis interventions, de-escalation, and supportive counseling. Coordinate care with support systems, arranging transportation to ERs, shelters, or outpatient services as needed. Refer individuals to outpatient facilities and services using established processes. Deliver short-term, evidence-based counseling within scope of practice, supporting both individuals and their families. Participate in MCRSS and other professional trainings. Serve as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain compliance with BCRI policies, procedures, and professional expectations. Perform additional authorized tasks aligned with the role. QualificationsQualifications What You Bring Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work (MSW). Maryland licensure: LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, or LCSW-C (supervision provided for LGPCs and LMSWs). At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills. Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with EHR/EMR systems preferred.
