Senior Research Analyst
aytm
• Program and build surveys on aytm’s proprietary platform for both ADIY and Full Service projects. • Translate client questionnaires and research objectives into effective surveys. • Translate client data deliverable requirements (e.g., tables, simulators, specs) into clear documentation for Data teams, and QA outputs to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations. • Review survey instruments for clarity, logic, grammar, structure, and best practices, recommending improvements that strengthen data quality and respondent engagement. • Execute thorough end-to-end QA on programmed surveys. • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate survey tool/platform-related technical issues, partnering with internal teams to resolve efficiently. • Launch and manage fieldwork for market research studies in partnership with Panel Operations. • Monitor fieldwork performance, quotas, incidence, LOI, and respondent quality metrics. • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on progress and risks, adjusting execution as needed to meet project goals. • Partner with Research Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure surveys align with research objectives and client expectations. • Provide executional support for moderate-to-complex studies while maintaining ownership of technical survey implementation. • Build charts, tables, and reporting deliverables with a strong focus on accuracy. • Ensure reporting outputs meet internal QA standards and client expectations. • Maintain organized project documentation and programming assets. • Complete project closing tasks including final checks and cost analysis support. • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing programming learnings, best practices, and workflow enhancements. • Work independently and collaboratively within a remote, entrepreneurial environment.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in the market research industry.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in market research, social sciences, mathematics/statistics, or related field.
- Direct experience building and programming surveys in online survey platforms (DIY-oriented preferred), such as: aytm, Qualtrics, Decipher, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer (SurveyGizmo), QuestionPro, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of the full online research lifecycle: questionnaire design, programming, fielding, data delivery/reporting.
- Proven ability to execute technical survey logic and troubleshoot complex programming, including typing tools
- Working knowledge of data deliverables and reporting outputs (e.g., tab specs, simulators), with the ability to translate client requirements and QA final outputs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-turn environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and drive for impact.
