• Work with a team of talented engineers and product managers to deliver products and features that support zerohash’s business • Partner closely with zerohash product and program managers to ensure roadmap is well understood and team is able to plan and execute on expected outcomes • Work with the team on technical planning to ensure that product requirements are captured in the technical solution • Partner with other Engineering Managers to drive the technical roadmap forward • Support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence • Manage processes to help the team do its best work and interface effectively with the rest of zerohash • Recruit, coach, and develop engineers • Help engineers establish career development plans • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Zero Hash’s engineering management team • Participate in essential technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across our product and operations teams • Work with a wide range of stakeholders to build a clear vision for your team • Oversee the success of your team's projects and achieve quantifiable results • Introduce industry leading engineering patterns and practices that give us the confidence to do bold things • Make consistent development contributions so as to maintain competency with our codebase and system architecture
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with significant focus on building and maintaining robust APIs and SDKs for B2B integration.
- 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing staff and principal level engineers
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience.
- You've managed teams that have delivered great products
- Golang expertise, familiar with Go’s idiomatic approach and niches.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and React for frontend services.
- Understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, including major protocols (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum), on-chain transaction flows, and common crypto security practices (key management, wallet types).
- Technical Domain Expertise (Crypto, Fintech, and API/SDK)
- Proven experience integrating with third-party financial services or crypto exchanges/brokerages via REST, WebSockets, or other proprietary APIs.
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance and security standards related to digital assets and money movement (e.g., KYC/AML implications for transfers, data privacy, custody practices).
- Expertise in designing and operating large-scale, distributed systems that handle sensitive financial data and high transaction volumes with sub-second latency and high reliability.
- Experience in driving technical strategy and architectural decisions for complex, highly-available, and high-throughput systems
- Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to represent the engineering team to external partners, customers, and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with external engineering teams to guide them through complex SDK/API integrations, troubleshoot connection issues, and gather technical feedback.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts (like API architecture, security protocols, and crypto idiosyncrasies) into clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences (e.g., Sales, Product, Legal, and external partners).
- Experience partnering closely with Product Management to define product requirements, influence technical roadmaps, and make trade-offs between speed, quality, and technical debt.

Role Description In this role, you will lead the team responsible for powering the tooling, services, and infrastructure needed to enable Stripe’s scale. You will act as a strategic leader and technical mentor, ensuring our global corporate offices, support centers, and partner networks are designed and operated to the highest standards.
