Remote Positions Available in All Camden Markets: Washington D.C., Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando, Tampa, SE Florida, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Denver, and Phoenix Job Summary: The Shared Services Analyst supports the Operations teams’ administrative functions for a portfolio of communities. The Shared Services Analyst performs tasks including but not limited to collecting rent and other monies due, collecting former resident move out balances, generating renewal offers, performing monthly close out, and preparing final account statements. Camden’s Shared Services Analysts must have exceptional communication skills and engage with internal and external customers in a professional and accurate manner. Consistently meet all performance standards including schedule adherence, average handling time, quality, and retention. The Shared Services Analyst will exercise critical thinking and offer solutions to manual administrative work. This is a fast-paced, remote, position that requires strong organizational skills and independent task management. Essential Functions: - Build and maintain strong relationships with onsite teams to assist in the day-to-day operations of communities. - Participate in regular team meetings within the Shared Services and Operations teams as needed. Share recommendations on potential improvements to current workflows and processes. - Generate and send renewal offers to residents weekly, using information provided by Revenue, Asset Management and Operations teams. - Initiate regular communication with residents who have past due balances. Continue to follow up until the balances have been paid, resident has moved out or an acceptable promise to pay date has been established. - Generate accurate legal notices to be served to residents with past due balances in accordance with local laws. - Follow local laws and Operations leadership guidance to file for eviction on accounts that remain past due. Monitor accounts and work with local counsel to provide all necessary documentation while continuing to reach out the resident for updates. - Perform accounting month-end/close out activities. - Audit accounts of residents on notice to move out to ensure proper documentation is present and fully executed. Work with onsite teams on necessary corrections. - Use information provided by onsite teams including move out inspections, photos and lease documents to accurately complete and send Final Account Statements (FASs) within provided timelines following move out. - Contact former residents to collect FAS balances prior to accounts being placed with a collection agency. Work out and set up payment plans as needed within the guidelines provided by Operations Leadership. - Communicate effectively with team leads on progress, challenges, and status of daily tasks. - Monitor and follow-up to resolve outstanding and on-going tasks. - Learn and understand operation processes, local laws, and community goals for an assigned portfolio of communities. - Provide excellent notes in Funnel and Onesite to create seamless communication with onsite team members. - Assist all team members in research and problem-solving efforts and escalate problems as necessary. - Take an active role in ensuring the department goals and objectives are being met or exceeded. - Complete weekly check ins in Standout. - Perform other tasks as assigned by management. - Review and adhere to Camden’s Remote Work Policy. Requirements: - One year customer service or onsite residential multifamily experience required. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking. - Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision - Strong organizational skills and time management skills. - Proficiency in OneSite, Funnel and Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Proficient in Camden Policies and Procedures, Master Lease and State and local laws.
