Role Description DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Systems Software to join us. The Senior Software Developer for Systems Software designs, develops, and delivers enterprise-grade software solutions supporting TSA’s mission-critical applications and IT infrastructure, including: - Systems automation - Integration middleware - APIs - Platform-level software components This individual works within Agile and DevSecOps delivery frameworks to develop secure, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to DHS and TSA software development standards and Section 508 accessibility requirements. The Senior Software Developer collaborates closely with: - Systems engineers - Cloud architects - O&M contractor Key responsibilities include: - Requirements analysis - Software design - Coding - Unit and integration testing - Code review - Development of technical documentation including API specifications, developer guides, and runbooks The Senior Software Developer also supports software migrations and modernization efforts, such as: - Transition of legacy systems to cloud-native platforms - Contributes to capability development and testing activities defined in TALON task orders The individual participates in 14-day operational testing periods post-transition and is available to support post-deployment troubleshooting in coordination with the O&M contractor.
