Senior Project Manager

CDW

• Govern project budgets, timelines, risks, assumptions, scope changes, issues and dependencies; report out to clients and team members • Plan, schedule, document and manage activities throughout cloud consulting engagements as a billable project manager • Lead consulting sessions with Delivery team to understand challenges, technical needs, and customer requirements • Document and present recommendations to customers, including senior leadership • Manage comprehensive project plans and validate requested deliverables, resource requirements, internal goals, client priorities and milestones • Control and analyze project finances by ensuring project funding is secured and documented and creating cost estimates that are aligned with resource requirements • Coordinate relationships with customers and vendors to identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements • Manage scope changes and customer expectations through the change order process • Work with Mission Cloud service delivery leadership and sales resources to scope work efforts for project services

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, including direct management/interactions with customers
  • Experience in cloud consulting engagements including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar
  • Ability to consult and manage projects on a time and material basis
  • Ability to manage third-party partners as part of consulting engagements
  • Working knowledge of project management frameworks including Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices (Change Management, Problem Management)
  • Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, or similar certification
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (required within 60 days of hire)
