Software Development Engineer in Test – Secret Clearance Required
Sherpa
• Research software design documents for new or existing features to thoroughly understand the software under test • Formulate and document test cases to test the efficacy and performance of web, mobile, and desktop applications • Convert manual test plans into automated test software to ensure optimal test coverage. • Work with CI/CD pipelines to execute regular, thorough regression tests. • Report bugs in a concise, accurate, and reproducible way • Work closely with teams of software developers and other engineers to solve complex test automation scenarios. • Attend regular meetings to facilitate collaboration between engineers and across teams
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of Software Development or Test Automation experience
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
- Experience with ticketing software (Jira, Rally, etc.)
- Experience with Selenium/Appium
- Experience working with teams of engineers within the Agile framework
- Strong language/communication skills
- Experience coding in Java
