Title: Grants and Finance Specialist (Post Award Specialist) Location: Providence United States Job Description: - This position is Hybrid - Scheudle to be dicussed at the time of an interview* Job Summary: The Departmental (Grants and Finance Specialist) Post-Award Specialist manages departmental post-award activities such as budget control, managing and forecasting expenses, and reconciliation of award and contract finances. The incumbent is responsible for financial reporting and ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements, as well as problem solving, prioritizing, and multitasking of assignments, requests and submission deadlines. The role frequently requires managing several competing deadlines, often with short lead times. The incumbent facilitates clear communication amongst staff, administration and faculty members, collaborators, and sponsors. The incumbent ensures adherence to hospital and system standards. Specifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Federal post-award experience strongly preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and possess excellent communication skills and analytical abilities. Minimum of 3 to 5 Years Must be proficient in the English language.
