This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, market intelligence, and distribution, helping ensure our investment strategies are delivered through the right vehicles and remain competitive across client segments and geographies. This individual will play a key role in generating timely, actionable insights on market trends, competitor activity, and product positioning across both traditional and alternative investment strategies. The role offers broad exposure to product development and management across multiple asset classes and vehicle structures, including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, non-US investment vehicles and semi-liquid/private market solutions. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, and eager to contribute to a team focused on scaling a global product platform across wealth, institutional, and international channels. What you will do: Market Intelligence & Product Insights - Conduct in-depth competitive analysis, market research, and trend identification across asset classes, vehicle structures, and client segments - Support the development of product intelligence and reporting to inform product strategy, positioning, and innovation efforts - Analyze industry trends (including flows, performance, pricing, and vehicle adoption) to identify opportunities for product enhancement or new product development Product Strategy & Positioning - Partner with senior product managers to position and differentiate First Eagle strategies across wealth, institutional, and international distribution channels - Contribute to product reviews and lifecycle management, including assessments of product relevance, competitiveness, and structure - Help develop product narratives and messaging that align with evolving client needs and market dynamics Product Development Support - Assist in the ideation and evaluation of new product opportunities, including market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, and business case development - Support product development initiatives across multiple vehicle types (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, CITs, and global/offshore structures) - Collaborate with senior product development team members to create and deliver pipeline and project reporting for senior management - Contribute to cross-functional projects involving investments, legal, operations, and distribution teams Distribution & Stakeholder Support - Serve as a key partner to distribution teams by responding to product-related inquiries and delivering data-driven insights and positioning support - Collaborate with Marketing to develop and enhance product materials, sales content, and thought leadership - Partner with senior Product Management Team as a bridge between investment teams and distribution, ensuring consistent and accurate product messaging Analytics & Reporting - Generate analytical reports and insights using tools such as Morningstar, eVestment, FactSet, Preqin, Lipper, and YCharts - Conduct ad hoc analyses in support of strategic growth initiatives, including expansion into new channels (e.g., family office, international markets) and product structures The qualities you should have: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or industry designations (CFA, CAIA, CIMA) a plus - 3+ years of relevant experience in asset management, product management, investment research, or a related field - Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and asset management industry trends - Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations - Familiarity with a range of investment vehicles and distribution channels (wealth, institutional, international) - Proficiency with industry tools such as Morningstar, eVestment, FactSet, Preqin, and YCharts - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with Python, SQL, VBA or other analytical tools a plus - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities - Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a client-first orientation - Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in product innovation across public and private markets - FINRA Series 7 and 63/66 a plus Base Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
