Thrive Market

ABOUT THRIVE MARKET Thrive Market was founded in 2014 with a mission to make healthy and sustainable living easy and affordable for everyone. As an online, membership-based market, we deliver the highest quality healthy, and sustainable products at member-only prices, while matching every paid membership with a free one for someone in need. Every day, we leverage innovative technology and member-first thinking to help our over 1,700,000+ members find better products, support better brands, and build a better world in the process. We are also a Certified B Corporation, a Public Benefit Corporation, and a Climate Neutral Certified company. Join us as we bring healthy and sustainable living to millions of Americans in the years to come. THE ROLE At Thrive Market, data is core to how we operate, innovate, and grow. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to play a critical role in turning data into strategic insight - guiding decisions across product, finance, marketing, operations, and merchandising. This role goes beyond building dashboards or pulling reports. You'll help translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that shape business outcomes. Whether it's analyzing member behavior, identifying pricing opportunities, or supporting cross-functional initiatives, you'll bring rigor, curiosity, and clarity to every conversation. You’ll be a trusted analytics partner to leaders across Thrive Market, connecting data to real-world outcomes, and helping teams make smarter, faster decisions every day. RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead high-impact, end-to-end analytics projects that inform key product strategies, from experiment design through post-launch analysis. - Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to align on priorities and translate questions into analytical frameworks. - Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Functional teams to gather, manipulate, analyze, and document raw, complex data and share cohesive data stories that make sense to business and technical audiences. - Deliver clear, data-driven insights that influence decision-making across the organization. - Design and maintain dashboards, experiment reports, and datasets that empower product teams to self-serve and track performance. - Identify data quality issues and help resolve inconsistencies across source systems and instrumentation. - Design and analyze A/B tests with statistical rigor, including proper sample sizing, significance testing, and result interpretation. - Develop analytics plans for new features, defining success metrics, required instrumentation, and measurement approaches in partnership with Product Managers. - Respond to ad hoc analytical requests with accuracy, efficiency, and business context. - Bring thought leadership to Thrive Market's analytics practices — recommending new ways to enhance our analytical toolkit and processes. QUALIFICATIONS - MBA preferred with a focus in analytics, strategy, or a related quantitative field. - 7+ years of experience in data and product analytics, with a strong track record of business impact. - Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, or C++). - Experience with large-scale data tools such as Hive, Spark, or similar. - Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses. - Strong foundation in statistics and multivariate regression. - Expertise in data visualization and BI tools (Domo, Tableau, Looker, etc.). Ability to clearly communicate insights to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making. - Experience in eCommerce or subscription businesses is a strong plus. - Familiarity with A/B testing, web analytics (GA, Amplitude, Mixpanel), and customer journey analysis. - Curious, collaborative, and highly self-motivated — with a bias for action and a business-first mindset. BELONG TO A BETTER COMPANY - Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability) - Competitive salary (DOE) + equity - 401k plan - 9 Observed Holidays - Flexible Paid Time Off - Subsidized ClassPass Membership with access to fitness classes and wellness and beauty experiences - Ability to work in our beautiful office in Playa Vista - Free Thrive Market membership with exclusive employee discount - Coverage for Life Coaching & Therapy Sessions on our holistic mental health and well-being platform We're a community of more than 1 Million + members who are united by a singular belief: It should be easy to find better products, support better brands, make better choices, and build a better world in the process.
